ok brothers and sisters i have converted to Islam took the shahahdah , i know some of you here know it already.
Sister scents-of-jannah asked me to visit paltalk and that is how i ended up taking the shahadah on chat room.
i took a bath right after , i heard people say that i have to clean hairs etc i am so confused what is next.
This friday iam going to meet one brother and go to mosque he said he will teach me a lot of stuff.
I am taking the baby steps so still new to all this. :nervous:
I have passion for Allah and want to learn more about Him.
I used to hate Islam after listening to all negative comments from people. Little did i know that it is the true path to God.
I cant write all my story here so forgive me :D

just learn how to perform wudoo (ablution) and your obligatory prayers as that is the most important and be consistent in your prayers as they are obligatory.

Can I know how long you spent studying the Qu’ran and Islamic teachings before taking the shahada and can I know which particular verse(s) convinced you that Islam was the true religion?

I have read the Quran all of it.
Islam follows one God who we call Allah and the Quaran has so many things which are needed for today's society, which is full of corruption, sin and lust etc.
I was a strong christian before i knew the bible in and out.

How similar that is to
"Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one." :statisfie

Yes sister exactly, even the bible never teaches about the trinity, never did Jesus say in any of His messages about the trinity , just question your self

I understand, Mark.
I am a firm believer and follower of the same One God Almighty, which you follow.
This is not the place to discuss the trinity or indeed Jesus himself, but please assured that I have questioned myself and my beliefs, and I am sure of my answer.
Let us continue to serve our God in the way we believe to be right, true and good - even if we do it differently.
May God soften our hearts and fill us with the joy of knowing him and with peace towards all mankind and all creation. :statisfie
