View Full Version : Ever go to car auctions?
Blackpool

I went for the first time tonight as I'm currently car hunting. There are some absolute beauties. I wanted to bid on 75% of them but I was told by mates to hold on a bit longer. The cars at these auctions go at a ridiculously low price. You can try them out 30 mins before the auction starts.
I envied this git that bought one for £1600, new fully kitted up beauty, I cannot remember what it was.
I am drooling imsad Patience...I'm going to get the best one going next month.
If anyone is looking for a car get to your local car auctions and make sure you are with a knowledgable person who knows his cars and knows his faults.

guys just remember if the ''slender frame'' picks on the most futile of things to win an argument be kind and just let them
it will boost their morale since they operate in hot and distressing conditions near the stove.

For me, a car should look good, have a nice AC n CD player and run smoothly. That's it :p
But it also helps if you have someone to open and close the car door for you :)

just reading ''the book of rules for written battles''
and an excerpt from page 15 says the following :
''If having an online written sparring with a female opponent the technique of ''last apology'' can be produced by using whatsoever method to play on the emotions of the opposite to force them to say the last apology under the influence of melancholy and the common method is calling for a truce under false pretenses this causes the opposition to win the battle''

build a bridge and get over it. i guess you are what you see in others then.
whatever makes you sleep at night, salve of Allah. if you cant accept a sincere apology, you're the one who needs the luck, not i.

I was not a car lover but my brothers made me LOVE cars and know their names "by force". Each time I happen to be in their car they talk about all cars in the street and showed me any video they got about cars <_<
They made me in love with those two cars:
Porche Cayenne Turbo.
And
BMW
so stylish ones :)
but more importantly, the most thing I like to watch on cars shows is the places they shows car in (forests, snowy roads...etc) :coolious:

The most important things I need in any car even though I don't drive are:
1. Wide area for seats
2. Perfect AC since our sun is boiling here
3. Very advanced CD/DVD/Mp3 players
4. High quality TV
5. Dark windows that will prevent sun rays to heat the inside car
6. Move smoothly and quietly in the road
7. Safe in case of Accidents with the less possible damage
8. "if possible" a small laptop work on the car power with an internet connection :coolious:
Good luck blackpool in getting a good car

Okay forum, back to our discussion. I start with my story.
When I was younger I bought an ex-taxi, old and wrecked Toyota Corolla that need repairing almost every week. The only good stuff in this car was it audio. Not expensive brand, but good quality. No wonder if everyone told me "You are lucky, you bought a car audio and you got a used car as a bonus".

I will never understand peoples obsessions with cars. They are just chunks of metal These are what are worth falling in love with.
Cessna 150's
Cessna 172
But this is what I would love to fly once again. The F-86
Now if I can find some gullible billionaire to give me a 3000 year loan for these babies:

The MIG 17 is a near duplicate of the F-86. Real interesting story about how the Russians got the F-86 plans and copied them for the MIG

My wife Aabidah agrees with you she is a horse lover. She raises Paint Horses (Actually we raise them together now.) This is Rowdy she likes him much more than any car or any plane I take a fancy to.
Rowdy is quite a horse, Aabidah is the only one who can ride him. He is very possessive of Aabidah and will push me away from her if we are close together when we are in the pasture.

Actually driving a Cessna is much easier than flying a car.
Not really. It is quite difficult maneuvering a Cessna on the ground. You steer with the toe brakes. Quite hard to get used too.
Then again it is very difficult to steer a car if it is airborne. Easiest way to get one airborne is drive off a cliff, naturally the landing is somewhat painful

Uncle, you can drive a Cessna on the road, but I guess you cannot make your car take off in Chicago and landing in New York.

The phenomenal car in World Rally Championship,....Mini Cooper.
Today people know Mini Cooper as funny old car that driven by the funny guy, Mr. Bean.
However, in its golden age, Mini Cooper was known as Giant Killer that can ran faster than its bigger powered rivals in rally competitions. Won 1964, 1965 and 1967 Monte Carlo Rally, also finished first in 1966 Monte Carlo Rally but got disqualified. Mini Cooper was a very popular car in race and rally.
