I have found an Institute for Islam studies here in the Netherlands. I want to study Arabic and Islam, but I have a couple of questions. How long would it take for me to learn basic Arabic? Also, I want to study Islam primarily to increase my knowledge, but let's say it turns out that I'm very intelligent :D and I decide to study further.. could I eventually make a living with the knowledge I have gained? What could one do for a living - become a teacher or something? Any ideas? My biggest dream is to work for Islam/with Muslims...
