they do need a third intifada. as everyone has seen, peace and quietness brought nothing for them. in gaza they still live under siege, in the west bank israel keeps taking more land, and refuses to give up settlements, and in jerusalem the israelis keep trying to judaize the arab-Muslim areas.

There was never any peace an quietness in the first place prince. That was one of the facts that exemplified Israeli duplicity. They claimed that Gaza was the true scourge of their existence, yet they kept launching reuglar and repeated incursions into the West Bank sometimes resulting in many fatalities.

What exactly has the violence done for them?

actually, the first and second intifada DID bring results:

1st intifida: before the first intifada the palis had ZERO rights, their own authority wasnt even recognized, and israel virtually controlled everything, as a result of the 2nd intifiada it finally brought some legitimacy and recognition for the Palestinians, the PA was finally recognized and backed, and the Palestinians gained some moderate independance as it allowed them to control their own cities and towns via the PA, whereas before the uprising no such thing ever existed, and was hardly on the cards.

2nd intifada: the 2nd intifada crippled the Israeli econamy, and brought much more coverage to the crimes and aggression of the Israelis, everyone was starting to forget about the area until the Palis rose up. furthermore thanks to the 2nd intifada the Israelis were forced to leave Gaza and abandon their settlements because it became futile to defend them from attack after attack, pretty much like what happened to Israel in south lebanon. if the 2nd intifada never happened gaza would still be under Israeli hands, and who knows, the Israelis would have probaly even extended their settlements.

hence anyone who says the 2 intifadas brought nothing or no success for the palestinians need to have their heads re-examined and need to check the facts, and get to reality.

May Allah be pleased with you brother Prince

even if the results were bad Palestinians would do what is right.. They don't care how it ends.. That's what we are supposed to do.. Resistance is the only way..

http://www.islamidavet.com/english/2...amic-heritage/

And, the end maybe victory or defeat.. They will get reward inshaAllah..

Allah promised the victory to the oppressed in the end..

but these defeat times are stated as;

"If a wound has afflicted you (at Ohud), a wound like it has also afflicted the (unbelieving) people; and We bring these (victory and defeat) days to men by turns, and that Allah may know those who believe and take MARTYRS from among you; and Allah does not love the unjust." [3:140]

"O ye who believe! Be not like the Unbelievers, who say of their brethren, when they are travelling through the Earth or engaged in fighting: "If they had stayed with us, they would not have died, or been slain." This that Allah may make it a cause of sighs and regrets in their hearts. It is Allah that gives Life and Death, and Allah sees well all that ye do." [3:156]
