Dawah -Invitation to islam - A Responsibility Of every Muslims

"Invite to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided." [The-Qur'aan, an-Nisaa'(16):125]

"And who is better in speech than he who invites to Allah and does righteous deeds, and says: 'I am one of the Muslims.'" [al-Qur'aan, Fussilat(41):33]

With regards to the reward, the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) has said: "Whoever guides [another] to a good deed will get a reward similar to the one who performs it." [Saheeh Muslim] Also, "By Allah, if Allah were to guide one man through you it would be better for you than the best type of camels." [al-Bukhaaree, Muslim]

An important matter for Muslims to realize is that da`wah is an obligation upon them. Allah (subhaanahu wa ta`aalaa) says in the Qur'aan:

You are the best of Umah (peoples), evolved (Raised up) for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. . (4,110)

'Dawah' literally means "Inviting people to Islam". The Qur'an is Allah (swt)'s message for the whole humanity to come till the end of this world and it has laid great emphasis on Dawah. Muhammad (PBUH) was the last Prophet of Allah and after them this is the obligation of their every follower to do their Job (Dawah). we all Muslim are the representative of Muhammad (PBUH), as there no more Prophet will come for the guidance of People, till the end of the world (except isha (Juses) near Qayyamah).

Say: This is my Way: I invite unto Allah with sure knowledge. I and whosoever follow me - Glory be to Allah! - And I am not of the idolaters. (12, 108)

And in At-Tirmidhi, it has been reported that the Messenger of Allah said:

"By Him in Whose Hand my soul is! You will enjoin good and forbid evil, or Allah will certainly send His punishment to you. Then you will make supplication and it will not be accepted."

So when they forgot the remindings that had been given to them, We rescued those who forbade evil, but We seized those who did wrong with a severe torment because they used to rebel (disobey Allah). (EMQ al-A'raaf, 7:164-165)

Infact a Muslim's life is supposed to be a "Dawah" for mankind. There are different levels at which individual Muslims can do Dawah. It is hence essential to understand the basic principles of Dawah. It is hoped that Muslims would benefit from the articles below insha'allah for the purpose of Dawah.

Strangers

Muhammad (pbuh) said that this religion began as something strange and will return as something strange... so give glad tidings to the strangers. We see many cases of Muslims reforming themselves to become better Muslims, and in most cases they are seen as extreme, strict and sometimes even considered as crazy. Strangers is what they have become. In this lecture Sheikh Khalid Yasin explains the importance of being patient in difficult times like these.

we are thankful to all Brother who encourage us .
Quran Says :

The believers, men and women, are Auliyâa’ (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another; they enjoin (on the people) Al-Ma‘rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm orders one to do), and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. polytheism and disbelief of all kinds, and all that Islâm has forbidden); they perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give the Zakât, and obey Allâh and His Messenger. Allâh will have His Mercy on them. Surely Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise. (9,71)

Yes supporting Dawah is Also like Giving Dawah. This is the Quality of Momin that Allah has described in last Ayaat that Momin Women and Men are supporter Each other in "Amar bil Ma'ruf wa Nahi Munkar"

For munafiq Men and women Allah says in Quran :

The Hypocrites (Munfiq), men and women, (have an understanding) with each other: they enjoin evil and forbid the right, and they withhold their hands (from spending for the cause of Allah). They have forgotten Allah; so He hath forgotten them. Verily the Hypocrites are rebellious and perverse. (9,67)

May Allah save us from doing like Munfiqoon who enjoin and preach evil and forbid good deeds.

And what is a name for munafiqoon people who call munafiqoon to anyone who try to giving daw'ah to them.

Do you know brother ?, there are some people in Indonesia who have ID card as Muslim but they always defend pornography. Even in some newspapers they called Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) as group of Munafiqoon, just because MUI tried to prohibit pornography. Astaghfirullah al Adzim.

May Allah saves our Ulama from fitnah.
May.........., brother, can I make du'a wish Allah sends those people to the hell ?.

Allah says in Quran :
Verily, those who like that (the crime of) illegal sexual intercourse should be propagated among those who believe, they will have a painful torment in this world and in the Hereafter. And Allâh knows and you know not. (24, 19)

Brother we can only pray for them that May Allah show them right path, Brother in this period of time the most difficult thing to save is only emaan, everywhere the evil forces are countring us specialy people who are momins. the evil forces are giving dawah and working hard for spreading evil, the weakness is at our side that we instead of breaking this evil forces through the way of Nabi s.a.w we are enjioing them...
May Allah save our and all mominoon emaan.
