Salam,

First, there is no easy way out. You have to give from your own money/possessions. Giving charity is not less important than praying five times a day. Second, foreign aid usually benefits the donor countries or certain lobbies/interest groups. It's merely a foreign policy tool to benefit rich nations....

In many cases, aid is primarily designed to serve the strategic and economic interests of the donor countries or to benefit powerful domestic interest groups. Aid systems based on the interests of donors instead of the needs of recipients make development assistance inefficient. Too little aid reaches countries that most desperately need it. Also, aid is wasted on overpriced goods and services from donor countries.

as far as I can tell they use the money from the sponsorship on the site to pay for aid. If its a good deed then alhamdulillah, if its not then I have the intention and anyway, I would give separate charity and not expect anything from this inshAllah.

Is there any harm in clicking a link if theres a possibility that something good may come out of it?

So how are we actually giving them anything by clicking on this link? Sponsorship?
