on friday/saturday it is the Festival of sacrifice/Eid ul Adha for muslims.

We remember the time when Abraham peace be upon him was willing to sacrifice his son for the sake of Allah.

Sheeps/cows/camels are sacrificed in obedience to Allah. The meat is eaten/given to charity and shared out amongst friends/relatives.

As a Christian, Supreme knows the story when Abraham (p.b.u.h) willing to sacrifice his son for the sake of Allah. However, if in Islam version that son was Ismail (p.b.u.h), in Christian version that son was Abraham (p.b.u.h) another son, Ishak/Issac (p.b.u.h).

Not shared out amongst friends/relatives but shared out to poor people, including poor people who are living in other area. In example, few years ago, meat from Saudi was sent to poor people in Lebanon.
