My PC
--
Intel Pentium 4 3Ghz LGA processor
Intel 945GCCR mother baord
1GB RAM
Separate PCIE 512VGA

my power supply was having some problem and today I changed it
but the old power supplies output is 450W and new one is 350W

after I installed the new one when I browse or do anything in my PC it shuts down automatically

Does the output power 350W enough ?

To get any use out of the 350 you will need to disconnect all of your peripheals but even that will not be enough if you have any type of graphic accelerators installed and more then one hard drive. For most of todays PCs 450 is about the minimum requirement and 550 is often better.

Is that a Pentium 4 processor or one of the new Intel processors? Can you be more specific and provide the exact processor and VGA cards you have? Looking at what you have posted, I dont see it consuming more than 200W of power. You should be in good shape with 350W

Looking at the factory specs for your motherboard you have a minimum powere requirement of 275 Watts but that is for a very bare Board with small RAM, no PCI connections and a small HDD. Looking at what you have installed I believe the minimum to run it is 350 watts, The board can handle up to 500 watts. I believe 400-450 would be the ideal for you. You may read the full specs here:

You may b able to use the 350 power supply. But check the section on Power management, you will most likely need to change some settings to get full use from the 350
