I'm guessing most people do, don't you need it to watch videos on youtube?

umm well i consider flash to be a nuisance..
1) all flash sites tend to be too flashy
2) Flash takes too much of cpu usage
3) Flash sucks in old computers or computers using linux (like mine)
But yeah flash sites give you flexibity of making beautiful websites

Shockwave and Flash are different file types each with their own player.
What is this website going to contain? Could you just use flash for a few parts of the site?

Its very good mashAllah :p It will be good to see when it is up and running since few flash sites handle a lot of dynamic content well.

Yes, it's great (mash'Allah) but it would be a problem for those using slow internet connection. I've used flash websites on a slow connection and they take a long time to load.
