Are we allowed to put a picture of ourselves as our avatar? I am assuming NO, but I thought I should ask first.

We are not allowed to put picture of ourselves or picture of someone else as avatar here.

Even in other forums where using picture of human as avatar is allowed, using picture of ourselves as avatar is not recommended. Do not show your true identity in open forum. If you want to tell your real name, your address or show your photo to other member, you can use Private Message.

I had a Turkish dude come up to me the other day and just start carying on a converstation with me.........It took me 4 or 5 minutes before i could tell him "I don't understand what you are saying" well a couple words i did. He was really nice;D

My wife says my accent or what ever you call it goes in and out ramdomly, It depends how worked up i get, I start talking way to fast sometimes and nobody can understand my "Italianhinditamil" with a sprinkle of Aramaic. :p

You can't get much better than that.
