this is dependent on how well you already know arabic and are familiar with it. are you arab? different methods of teaching are applied depending on what type of knowledge one already has. so if you are non-arab, the way you will be taught will be slightly different from then if you already had a good idea about the language/dialects.
the best advise i can give, is to have a teacher and to stick to
one method/one set of text books. reason being is that every teacher and every book has its own way of teaching the same things, and if you make the mistake of delving into too many books at once, you will get really confused, even though it will be teaching the same thing.
