:sl: brother do not waste your youth for it is too precious to waste of things that will not benefit you in this world or the next. Rather open up an Islamic club where you can learn about Islam together and do good deeds and various halal activities together including fund rasing for charity, sports and anything beneficial for your imaan and the local community etc. Also get involved with dawah among those of your age group inviting them towards good and forbidding evil. Make the best of your youth before it is over for the worship in youth is the best of all worship.

Narrated by Ibn Abbas: Allah's Apostle said,

"Take advantage of five matters before five other matters: your youth before you become old; and your health before you fall sick; and your richness before you become poor; and your free time before you become busy; and your life before your death." [Musnad Imam Ahmad]

i don't think they cover the use of video games in the ancient religious texts so it will be up to young muslims like you to develop suitable rules for yourselves and subsequent generations of gamers.

i would recomend Call of Duty 2: Modern Warfare because i think it is an absolutely awesome piece of games design developed with the onus on multi-player participation making it perfect for a games club but i imagine that the subject matter (basically running around shooting people) would be something that your elders dissapprove of.

howabout if you compile a list of games that you would like to play together and then run them by your elders to see which ones they think are ok and which ones they would rather you didn't play.

for the youth of today playing video games together is just like playing sports was for the generations before so i would treat it in a similar way and apply similar rules for participation to the rules you would apply to sports.

one other thing to consider - most video games have bgm (in game music) but you can usually turn it off in the options menus.
