People in all walks of life are searching for happiness, peace and tranquillity. Muslim or non-Muslim, black or white, young or old, each and every person wants to be at peace.

People try to find happiness in the wrong things. Some people look for happiness in money but they always want more and are never satisfied with what they have.

Some people spend their time chasing this world and only live for this life not investing anything into the hereafter but all they will get what is destined for them in this life but those who spend their life chasing the hereafter will find that this world comes to them.

Allah tells us in the Qur'an what will make us TRULY happy:

"Verily! Only in the remembrance of Allah will your heart find peace."
Quran (Surah 13: Verse 29)

Zikr means to absorb one's consciousness in the remembrance of Allah you can remember Allah in any language and in almost in any place.

Allah created us so he knows what is best for us. Happiness can only be found in a persons heart and Allah tells us in order to bring peace and happiness into our hearts we should remember him much. This is the only way anyone can find true peace and happiness.

So let us remember him abundantley and realise that we will NEVER find happiness in anything else but by his worship and remembrance!

:sl: Sister devote your time to Allah by prayer as well as recitation of the Qur'an and dhikr. Join sisters circles, learn Islamic knowledge and give dawah to other sisters.

Spend your time devoted solely to Allah and your heart will find peace, tranquility and happiness.

Time is short and there is no time for sadness but instead let us spend our final seconds in this world in complete devotion to Allah, in his worship, glorifying him and remembering him.

Let us not waste ANY time on sadness because whatever will happpen will happenb and we will regret the seconds we wasted for no reason. So let us spend our precious few seconds devoted to and remembering Allah!

Sis what is it that keeps you from being happy? :) I apologize if I asked something personal...

Personally I enjoy listening to Islamic lectures (The Aakhirah, Stories of the companions of the Prophet SAAS, Islamic way of life...) listening, reading and pondering over the verses of the Qur'aan al-hakeem...

Also strawberries + ice cream :heated:

The Comforting words of Allah during hardships and trials

Verily, with the hardship,
there is relief
(i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). [ Al-Inshirah 94:6]

"Peace unto you for that ye persevered in patience! Now how excellent is the final home!"
Excellent indeed is the final home!" [ Ar-Rad 13:24]

"...Do not regard it an evil to you;
nay, it is good for you...." [An- Nuur 24:11]

"...So put your trust (in Allaah)
if ye are indeed believers." [Al-Maida 5:23]

"O ye who believe!
Seek help in steadfastness
and prayer.
Lo! Allaah is with the steadfast." [Al-Baqarah 2:153]

"And certainly,
We shall test you with something
of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits,
but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.).
Who, when afflicted with calamity,
say: "Truly! To Allaah we belong
and truly, to Him we shall return." [ Al-Baqara 2: 155~156]

"And He will provide him
from (sources)
He never could imagine.
And whosoever puts his trust in Allaah,
then HE will suffice him.
Verily, Allaah will accomplish his purpose.
Indeed Allaah has set a measure for all things." [ At-Talaq 65:3]

"Verily We have created man
into toil and struggle." [ Al-Balad 90:4]

Know that when you have problems or in difficulty, then it is by Allaah's permission for HE says:

"Say: "Nothing shall ever happen to us
except what Allaah has ordained for us.
He is our Maula (Lord, Helper and Protector)."
And in Allaah
let the believers put their trust." [At-Taubah 9:51]

"No kind of calamity can occur,
except by the leave of Allaah
And if any one believes in Allaah,
{Allaah} guides his heart (aright):
for Allaah knows all things." [At-Taghabun 64:11]

"...There did Allaah give you one distress after another
by way of requital
to teach you not to grieve
for that which had escaped you,
nor for that which had befallen you.
And Allaah is Well Aware of all that you do." [Al-Imran 3:153]

Allah tells us that we will be tested. He also makes it clear to us what is expected from us when we undergo these trials and what our reward will be if we are successful.

The Prophet (peace be upon him)said: "No fatigue, illness, anxiety, sorrow, harm or sadness afflicts any Muslim, even to the extent of a thorn pricking him, without Allah wiping out his sins by it." [Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim]

In another narration, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “No Muslim is afflicted by harm, whether it is but the prick of a thorn or something worse, without Allah expiating his evil deeds on account of it and his sins falling away from him like leaves off a tree.'" [Sahîh al-Bukhârî]

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When Allah desires good for someone, He tries him with hardships." [Sahîh al-Bukhârî]
