i try to read namaz 5 times a day as much as i can and some days, i feel like missing the prayer cos im tired and feel too lazy, but as time nears, i feel really really guilty and then have to perform the namaz..is this really bad that I have these feelings..
Also after each namaz i read tasbee, about 4 different words 100x's each, if on any one of the namaz's i feel like not reading one, do i get Gunnah for not wanting to read it, eventhough its Sunnah
I know its bad to get these feelings.. im just being honest about how i feel at times..imsad

:sl: sis.
the best way to tackle and be motivated for praying is to empty your mind and soul of what ever is preoccupying you, beforehand, so that by the time prayer comes around, you dont feel lazy to pray. =) try work out why and what it is that makes your lazy/tired to pray and learn to rectify it.

also, getting up and praying as early as possible and not constantly delaying the prayer by saying to yourself "just another 5 mins" also makes one motivated...because if you keep saying that to yourself and eventually get up and pray nearly when the time is over, you will find that you dont have a very wholehearted heart when praying.

Assalamualaikum
You just try to pray everytime. When I come from my school I feel so tired after sometime the Asr time starts I go to pray while praying I feel so relaxed cause I stop thinking about the world. Its not difficult If we feel lazy we have to get up cause we will get more good deeds if we feel lazy though we prayed.Everything is a gift of Allah.Even problems also have a positive point.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said. "The (Hell) Fire is surrounded with all kinds of desires and passions, while Jannah is surrounded with adversities."[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

The way to Hell is littered with these evils. When a person crosses them, it is an indication that he has entered into Hell. On the other side exists a series of griefs and calamities, Islamic injunctions and obligations (the compliance with which is often irksome for man) impede his way to Jannah. When a person endures them with patience he, in fact, overcomes those obstacles and becomes eligible for Jannah.

:sl: Please have a read of this thread which is relevant to your issue of delaying Salaah: http://www.islamicboard.com/general/...5-minutes.html

You don't have to do the tasbih's after the Salaah as they are sunnah and not waajib or fard however if we were to see the reward these simple and easy good deeds then we would crawl towards them ie we would do whatever we can to do them.

Here is the reward for reciting just one Subhanallah:

Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said: "Is anyone of you incapable of earning one thousand Hasanah (rewards) a day?" Someone from the gathering asked, "How can anyone of us earn a thousand Hasanah?" Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said: "Glorify Allah a hundred times by just saying “Subhanallah” and a Good deeds will be written for you, or a thousand sins will be wiped away.” (Muslim 4:2073)

Here's more easy good deeds for us to do everyday:

Forty Very Easy, Quick & Rewarding Good Deeds for all of us to do Everyday!

So can you imagine the reward of reciting it 33 times after every prayer and before going to sleep? We need to realise that on the day of judgement we will regret it so much that we were not able to do these simple good deeds out of our laziness.

If we make the simple effort and strive now in this life then we will taste the fruits of our succeses and efforts in the hereafter otherwise we will regret the easy and simple good deeds we did'nt do in this world FOREVER!

Hope that helped sister. If you ever need help or advice then please never hesitate to ask.

I would recommend you to seek knowledge especially the knowledge of Allah ( TAWHIID)becuase when you know Allah it will be easy for you to obey him.
