Hi,

Could anyone suggest me any Masjid near Lake District.

We are planning to have a trip to that place for the long weekend.

I tried browsing around but i wasn't able to get a clear idea of the Masjid info near or around lake district.

Brother theres only one lake district and its in north west england, not london

Brother I apologize, as I am not much used to this place i live in london and when my room mates said we will be going to lake district i thought it was also in london.

Anyhow I guess the place you were referring must be the same place.

Theres unlikely to be a any masjids around there, its a remote mountainess region, I doubt any muslims live there. You can do your own jamat with a few brothers, masjid groups do that when they go there for trips.

Salam,

The Lake District has small villages in it and there aren't many muslims so I doubt there are many mosques. Plus the Lake District is VERY big so it depends which part you are going to.

There is one in Keswick which is in the Lake District.
There are also mosques in Penrith and Whitehaven which surround the Lake District and in Carlisle, but that's quite far out.

This is a Masjid in Carlisle which is on the edge of the lake District. You can put the postcode on your GPS and locate the Masjid that way inshallah

I hear NZ and Oz are better if you like outdoors. Cant wait to go :statisfie

While we're one the subject of reading salah outdoors, We did the same thing at Drayton Manor, no one complained ;D
