Assalamu 'Alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

Brothers and sisters I'm pleased to announce that after hundreds of hours of editing and summarizing, we've been able to finish this huge project. Please take the time to download and spread these wonderful lectures across the net. We all have grown to love and admire shaykh Anwar's lectures of the life of Our Beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) and now you will be able to enjoy it in a shorter period of time.

Just to list some of the things that have made it possible to summarize this in such a manner we've done the following:

* Removed Arabic readings of texts: "Shaykh Anwar in these lectures had a tendency to read large portions of Arabic texts and then translate them, and even though this is beneficial, for a person that doesn't have much time this could be quite time consuming."

* Removed Closing Lessons: "At the end of any lecture Shaykh Anwar would set aside a lot of time to go in depth and extract lessons from the story. And again even though we believe they are beneficial in their own right, we opted to also produce a seerah series that is just a presentation of the story rather than an in depth study on the matter."

* Removed Redundant Stories: "Sense the Seerah of the prophet (peace be upon him) is given so that the reader/listener can extract lessons, we've looked into the lectures and decided to remove some events that didn't have direct relation to the prophet and seemed redundant. Again this is just to save time and doesn't mean that the event isn't important."

* Reorganizing events: "Also sense the Shaykh was using Ibn Katheer's text to follow, he had a tendency at times to jump around in the seerah and didn't keep to a concise time line. So we organized the stories so that they follow one after the other in a correct and organized manner."

So these are some of the things we've done to achieve this goal. Please take advantage of these lectures and not take them for granted. This project took over a hundred hours to complete and all we ask is that you make Du'ah for us and help spread these lectures to the world.

Jazakallahu Khayran.
