I am really praying that it wasn't a Muslim that did this. I hate to suspect but the car with the bomb in it was in front of Viacom, the owners of South Park.

Really, people, why would you wish death upon someone like that? And you know, This just gives us a bad image. The Prophet Sallallahu Alayhe Wasallam would not want us to make a big deal out of this. We've inflated the problem. Our responsibility is only to let them know POLITELY, RESPECTFULLY, MATURELY that we do not depict the Prophet in any manner. Or any Prophet, for that matter.

And FYI, the cartoon wasn't intended for disrespect. I mean, the same people also depict the Pope, the President, and so on so forth.

How will we ever prove ourselves as tolerant Muslims if we continue going about like this? This whole issue is so minor, so stupid and we make such a big deal out of it. There's no disrespect intended to the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhe Wasallam. I was also disappointed in hearing of the situation but it's nothing to create havoc over.

May Allah Ta'ala guide us all to true wisdom.

Assalam aleykoim,

You made a big mistake.

You said I pray that they are not muslim, of course theyre not.

They have nothing to do with islam those people, we are all making that mistake.

I can not consider a muslim a personn who wants to kill innocent, its incredible.

Even in there are not, the elite will make bomb attacks and say its was done by muslim, to allowed them to do what they want in the name of Liberty and the the fight against terrorist.

Assalam aleykoum.

I highly doubt it was muslims who did this. I think they want us to believe it was them, like they always do. I mean come on, doesn't it sound fishy? A random car bomb in front of the owners of south park. :hmm:

here is the footage

http://edition.cnn.com/video/?/video...ect.video.nypd

Changing T-shirt in front of everyone. :hmm: Yeah right.

Lets see what the bomb was made of:

three tanks of propane similar to those used in backyard barbecues
two jugs of gasoline
dozens of M-88 firecrackers, which are legal for purchase in some states
and metal gun case holding 100 pounds of fertilizer that police said was incapable of exploding.

It would be nice if all the bombs planted in Iraq would give a smoke warning in advance before simply taking everyone down to shreds instantly the way they do here in the U.S and also have that hilarious comedic timing as to coincide with hmmm Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's visit to NY (today)..

After seeing the video of how dumb Americans are, I am not surprised that they push this crap out on daily basis, whenever ratings are down, or a visit of a loathed sovereign dictator etc. etc.

I hope whoever is responsible for this is brought to justice. Times Square is the hub of America, a great timeless landmark of a superpower. Let's hope the authorities continue to subdue the individual responsible for this, and that shouldn't be too hard with all America's resources.

we all know that whomever is truly responsible for this will not be brought to justice.. a christian hell would have to freeze over and all the devils go ice-skating before the truth comes out..

These cartoons, south park, etc is all a big game in my opinion. They draw cartoons and give extremist muslims something to react to. Muslims react allowing them to uphold the ideology that all muslims are terrorists.

The only sensible things we should/can do is to ignore.

Don't add more fuel to the already lit fire.

Israel Behind Times Square Bomb Hoax

By Gordon Duff STAFF WRITER Senior Editor
Who would have believed it? Only days after a warning of an Israeli “false flag” bombing against the US “in the works” a massive car bomb is discovered in Time Square! Better yet, though no intelligence organization in the world could discover anyone claiming responsibility for this embarrassing failure, SITE Intelligence, a group rumored as the “voice of the Mossad” has placed the blame on the Pakistani Taliban.
This is the same group that has come up with numerous bin Laden “audio” tapes, seemingly, though tiny and nearly totally unstaffed, whenever it is convenient for Israel to point a finger at someone, magically Site Intelligence, run by former IDF soldier Rita Katz, whose father was executed as a spy by Saddam Hussein, makes another “unbelievable” intelligence find.
Site Intelligence finds are not only timely for Israel, when the world is focused on claims they have been planning a ‘dirty bomb’ attack to send the US to war against Iran, but always tend to support mysterious organizations run from the caves of the Afghanistan/Pakistan border region.
SMOKING GUN?
After the demise of Iraq, victim of falsified intelligence, now eliminated as an Israeli competitor, all eyes turned to Pakistan, Islam’s only nuclear state. To establish footholds to destabilize Pakistan, a pro-Indian/Israeli government under President Karzai was installed in Kabul.
After 9 years, no evidence of any terrorist activity involved in 9/11 has been found in Afghanistan. The great “net” meant to catch Osama bin Laden and armies of Al Qaeda terrorists came up empty. Instead, we are told from reliable sources that Arab nations friendly to the US released criminals, transporting them to Afghanistan.
These “foreign fighters” actually little more than “extras” in a massive global theatre, kept the small US forces engaged for years, all without any purpose other than to establish that a terrorist organization must have been in Afghanistan because there certainly was one after 2002.
SURROGATE WARFARE ON PAKISTAN
In addition to installing a government that would work directly with Israel and India to organize terrorist attacks on Pakistan, funding to destabilize the oil and gas rich republics of the former Soviet Union had to be raised.
Opium production under the Taliban had been eliminated. The new government quickly began a resurgence of opium production and heroin processing. Aided by agents of the Indian RAW and Israeli Mossad, the governments of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan quickly fell under the influence of the 65 billion dollar a year Afghanistan drug empire.
Though the drugs may have been from Afghanistan, multiple intelligence agencies from Israel, India, Turkey and others, aided by military contracting firms contracted to the CIA, carried this plan forward.
Continual news stories tying Pakistan to failures to suppress terrorism or rumoring involvement in terrorism themselves flowed onto the world scene through western mainstream media, providing a clear footprint of a classic Mossad operation.
NO SO “UNEXPECTED”
With the demise of Al Qaeda, an unnamed Taliban organization with a website only visible to one person on earth has now declared a mysterious and shadowy war against the United States, in New York City, a city under tight security but one with a very large Israeli/Mossad presence.
This was the same city where the “dancing Israeli’s,” celebrated 9/11 after filming the attacks. Their advance knowledge of the attacks has been one of the many puzzle pieces tying Israel to 9/11.
However, it wasn’t until the “crotch bomber” of last Christmas that the breadth of Israel’s penetration of US security was demonstrated with Abdulmohammed’s attack tying directly to Tel Aviv.
Anyone who visits New York is aware that security there, especially in Time Square is the highest of anywhere in the world. The intelligence organizations protecting New York, including the world’s best police force, leave only one organization as capable of this kind of effort, an organization with massive resources in the area, numerous Israeli/American assets and many residual relationships with Gulliani/Kerik/Bush era friends, friends conveniently “asleep at the switch” on 9/11.
TIMING
Recent intelligence leaks from several agencies have warned of an impending “9/11 style” attack on a high value target in the US or Europe. Reports that a conventional bomb enhanced with nuclear material would be used.
With Iranian president Ahmandinejad and Secretary of State Clinton both scheduled to be in New York in the next 24 hours, and recent stories out of Israel trying to tie Iran to the Taliban, the issue of “timing” is a critical one.
ISREAL TIES TO PAKISTAN TALIBAN WELL ESTABLISHED
The group blamed in the Site Intelligence/Israeli report, the Pakistani Taliban has been responsible for hundreds of attacks in Pakistan, killing thousands of citizens. However, reliable sources have tied this group directly to Mossad/RAW training camps inside Afghanistan and Balochistan. The Pakistani Taliban have long been allies of Israel and India with 2000 terrorist trainers inside Afghanistan arming Pakistani Taliban terrorist group.
This has been confirmed, not only in direct briefings with the Pakistani ISPR and ISI but US military intelligence sources as well, who dispute the number of terrorist trainers, not their presence.
Terrorist groups inside Balochistan, the remote Pakistan province said to be a haven for Mossad attacks against Iran, claim to be headquartered in Israel. These groups work directly with the Pakistan Taliban and are another indication of this current “stunt” turning back on non-Islamic planners.
ALWAYS THE SAME, “WHO GAINS?”
With Iran taking the propaganda offensive to the United States, a nation increasingly distancing itself from, not only the idea of supporting an Israeli attack on Iran, but Israel herself. Israel is under pressure to reestablish itself as America’s partner in a long discredited “war on terror” that has been a huge embarrassment to the US.
A “very public” attack like his is a message to President Obama. “We can go where we want and our control of the press will put the blame on anything we do, on you.”
With over 90% of America’s terror arrests turning out to be innocent bystanders, some tortured for years, untold numbers “disappeared,” Bush era failures have soured public support for hunting terrorist leaders who have increasingly been either captured by Pakistan or have been found to be negotiating with US forces. The “war on terror” had become an “Israeli franchise,” making billions in increased military aid, some covertly transferred to Israel through “weapons replenishing” and fat military contracts taken from American firms.
The Marines in Afghanistan are using MRAP vehicles built in Israel, a country with nearly one million guest workers while America has over 30 million unemployed and an unused technology and industrial base better equipped for such production.
With the signature of this bombing being so close to that of the “crotch bombing,” an attack with Israeli fingerprints from Nigeria to Yemen to Amsterdam, the “superfast” accusation against a Pakistani group was no surprise.
ONGOING INVESTIGATION/FOX “ISRAELI ASSET” NEWS ATTACKS OBAMA
With New York police discounting the Pakistan connection to the bombing immediately, Fox News has unleashed an attack on the Obama administration in a well orchestrated manner, accusing democrats of “failing to protect the American people.”
With both Site Intelligence and Fox News tied directly to Israel and the signature and timing of this attack showing clear Israeli fingerprints, Fox may be right.
America may be unable to protect itself from a nation still seen by most Americans as a close ally. No other nation has the capability of such an attack or the influence to orchestrate the news, an act already in motion.
If any finger is pointing anywhere, Fox News is telling us “Israel did it.”

Who are extremist Muslims? How can you call other Muslims extremist just because you disagree with them? The proof is out there. It is unlikely that Pakistani Taliban did this. "City Mayor Michael Bloomberg earlier cast doubt on a claim by the Pakistani Taliban that it was behind the attempt." http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/8658246.stm

I hate apologetics.

Regarding that we ought to ignore this, I do not think a Muslim and someone who loves Prophet Muhammad pbuh can ignore this disrespect. If Umar (ra) could not ignore when a man disrespected Prophet MUhammad pbuh, are you claiming that we are more intelligent and have greater control over our emotions and anger than Umar (ra)?

Regarding ignoring this, it is a defeatist mentality of some Muslims who chose to live in the West or were born in the West. But Allhamdulillah, these are only some Muslims.

My friend contacted an Imam of a Masjid in Australia to get an opinion on what to do since his university does not allow him to take a 10 min break to pray Jumah. He replied back to my friend that "such extremist thoughts have no place in Australia and you should start looking at your job as a matter of worship. You ought to obey the laws of the land." That is a supposed IMAM of Muslims? The funny thing is that I always saw this friend of mine as relatively liberal than me! I see that Muslim countries bend over their backs to accommodate the Westerners and their hedonistic culture who live there (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain etc) ... where are their laws of the land? or have they sold their dignity?

The scholars dont even really allow protests anyway.

U want respect , u want rights , u want honour , its all only in followin the true teachings of islamm , its only in practising the true Islam like the sahaba n tabieen did , U want to protect the honor of the prophet sal lahu alihi wa sallam , well if ur manners ur ikhlaaq ur dealing were anything like the prophet sala lahu alihi wa sallam we wont have these kuffar mocking the prophet , its all because of us n now that we have ruined the image of islaam , our prophet sala lahu alihi wa sallam n muslims in general we wana make it even worse by marching and protesting and destroying and terrorising others , yes thats just a great idea it will ONLY make things worse if u ask me.

Islam did not spread like this nor will people protestinga nd marching will help islam in anyway.

ur worried about the honor of the prophet sala lahu alihi wa sallam but u never really look why it came down to that , u are never really willing to learn the islamic teachings nor are u willing to teach otyher muslims n make them aware of true islamic teachings not do u warn from exteremism or terrorism nor do u teach ur communities the dangers of taking matters in ur own hands, and then u wonder why the prophet sala lahu alihi wa sallam got mocked , why muslims all over the world are suffering cz of some individuals with takfeeri n tafjeeri philospioes n ideologies , its really coz of some of us anyway.

come back to quran n sunnah and warn against the takfeer n extremism.

AND I IN NO WAY MEAN FOLLOWING THE SUNNAH AND ADHEREING TO IT IS EXTREME , IM REFFERING TO BOMBINGS , KILLINGS , KIDNAPINGS N TERRORISM.

I told my mom about bombs being found in times square because she didnt know and she was like " did they catch some random muslim man about to leave the country beat him up and force him to confess" and she didnt even know someone was caught nevermind a muslim man about to leave the country. The whole thing seems staged and I dont know why Americans just believe it without questioning it.

What would the incentive be for the Americans staging this? However much I enjoy such television programmes like 24 and Prison Break, the events described in those programmes are largely fictional- it would be very hard for the US government to conduct this event and then cover up all evidence that implicated them.

Staged or predictable? Given recent history I'd have given it 50/50 odds to have been a muslim (or somebody claiming to be one). If it hadn't been a muslim the other contenders were Tea Partiers and Anarchists.

I do think the fact the suspect is Pakistani is just as, if not more relevant than his religion. Most terror plots in the West now come from Pakistani militant groups and Pakistani based training camps. Pakistan evidently has a huge array of militant groups- most started out with the intention of waging war against India and Kashmir which they believe is Pakistani, but now more are directing their anger towards the West.

Shahzad's life to see if the Pakistani-American man, who was charged on Tuesday afternoon connection with the Times Square car-bomb plot, was a lone wolf or part of a terrorism cell. Shahzad reportedly told U.S. law-enforcement officers that he acted alone, in statements allegedly implicating himself in the failed attack following his arrest at JFK International Airport on a Dubai-bound flight. It's still not known if Shahzad is a member of the Pakistani Taliban or any other militant group. Attorney General Eric Holder said at a press conference Tuesday afternoon, May 4, that the suspect was cooperating and providing valuable intelligence, although he declined to specify what the authorities had learned about the plot thus far, so as not to compromise the ongoing investigation.

Shahzad had reportedly returned to the U.S. in February after spending a number of months in Pakistan, where he traveled after becoming a naturalized American in April 2009. Pakistani officials say Shahzad is of Kashmiri descent and the son of a former top Pakistani air-force officer. On his latest Pakistani passport application, he had given his nationality as Kashmiri — a fact that some analysts suspect might tie him to those militant groups based in Pakistan that were originally formed to fight Indian control of the divided territory. An official in Islamabad said Pakistani authorities are investigating whether he had ties to any Kashmiri jihadist groups. During his latest spell in Pakistan, Shahzad was also said to have spent significant time in Peshawar, the capital of North-West Frontier Province, where the government has waged a fierce war against Taliban militants. A Pakistani government source, speaking on condition of anonymity, told TIME on Tuesday that the suspect had had ties with militants while in Pakistan. "He was here at a training camp," the source said. The legal complaint against Shahzad, which charged him with terrorism and attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction, said he admitted to receiving bombmaking training in Waziristan, the lawless tribal region where the Pakistani Taliban operates with near impunity.

Pakistani officials claim that there have been a number of arrests in Karachi of people suspected by authorities of having a connection with the suspect. "There will be more arrests before the night is out," a senior government source told TIME. Other reports suggest that one man held in Pakistan allegedly spent time with Shahzad during his stay there and was said to have hired a pickup truck and driven with the suspect from Karachi to Peshawar, long a hotbed of militancy.

I seriously cannot comprehend how anybody can believe this. All it is is fearmongering and I dont buy it. If they choose to believe that the taliban in south asia was behind this than that is their prerogative. If a these governments can conduct illegal wars, destabilize countries with contempt to international law I dont see how it is beyond them to create threats in order to keep the support for their unpopular wars going, and yes I believe a pakistani with affiliations to the taliban planting a bomb in times square would benefit them greatly particularly with the situation in pakistan right now. but i'm giving to much credit to a group of people whose biggest problems are obesity and cartoons when their governments are conducting illegal wars, killing thousands of innocents and using their tax money to fund illegal occupation in their names while gradually limiting their freedoms with the threat of a nonexistent enemy while their citizens moan and complain about the "extremists" and "fanatics" their foreign policy creates.

lol that was actually funny.. New Yorkers are kind beneath the rough exterior and mean-- they have to warm up to you though.. the best thing about NY is that every corner is a different nationality.. I'd be very freaked out if I were walking the streets of Kansas at night lol .. I don't think there is a need for much editing there, had many friends complain about the mid west and deep south
