I am new to this site; I have been looking for a site where I can ask a lot of questions that I frequently face on a daily bases, and I just hope that this is the right site where I could get some "true and right" answers, not mixed up. For instance, at one place a person commented on the matter of halal and haram foods "...we should have a haram day.."

I just want to say that I am not new to Islam, I have been raised in this religion, and I love it by heart, but at some points of my life I committed great sins for which I continue to apologize for. I want to start a new beginning, and avoid every single sin, no matter how big/small they are. I believe that in Islam, there r only Muslims who follow all of the rules that have been made, and there are Muslims by heart [I don't know any other word to describe them] those that follow all rules and contribute more in a positive way, there are no extremists. The rest are just Muslim by name[ no offense to anyone]. I recently started started questioning myself of who I am, and what is purpose of my life, and other questions similar to these. I wasn't pleased and I want to make a difference. I want to be a true Muslim by heart, therefore I want to obtain more 'knowledge' [that is right, not made up by some random person] about Islam, so I can be the best of myself. Some might suggest that I should talk to Imam. In my defense I'll try to be as truthful as much as I can: 1. I am being lazy not to go their and ask him in person 2. I don't really know the imam, for some reason I would feel uncomfortable 3. I can't find time.......... I am going try to find time and talk to him.

Can anyone please tell me where I can ask general questions, because I really don't have time, honest I don't, I'll explain about this later. Allah Hafiz
