View Full Version : Britney Spears wants to be frozen when she dies

I never read celeb news but thought this was interesting, look at how people want to live forever on this planet, even after death they want to come back here, this is how attached they are to this dunya

Britney Spears wants to be frozen after she dies so she can late be brought back to life when technology is advanced enough to do so

She wants to be brought back to life when technology is advanced enough to do so.

The troubled singer’s latest idea includes either being preserved in liquid nitrogen or being ‘cryogenically’ frozen and has been investigating companies that specialise in it.

One of the oldest companies of its kind, The Alcor Life Extension Foundation, was founded in 1972 and has taken Britney’s interest, The Sun reported.

The firm, based in Arizona, says on its website that it uses ‘ultra-cold temperature to preserve human life with the intent of restoring good health when the technology becomes available.’

But Britney’s wish to be preserved for future tours in racy outfits, is just her ‘latest obsession’ a friend told the newspaper.

She was allegedly inspired by the myth that Walt Disney had also been preserved by cryogenics to be revived in the future.

Spears has also looked into getting her ashes turned into diamonds as another option but her fascination with death does not come cheap.

If she goes ahead with the cryogenics, it’s set to cost approximately $350,000.

Actually, there is a similarity between computer and human.
Human body is a hardware, and the soul is a software.
So, can human live without soul ?. As computer user, you know the answer.

This is just a myth. According to Walt Disney inc spokesman, it's not true if Mr.Disney had been frozen and preserved to be revive.

The whole cryonics thing always baffled me, even aside from any religious angle. Even in the (extremely unlikely) event the freezers didn't break down or the company/trust go bankrupt long before this new technology arrived I don't see how the revivee could be anything but a complete freak; in a world they don't understand, can't deal with and are regarded most likely as little more than scientific curiosities. What's worse is that the majority of people choosing this go for the 'head only' option, presumably as it's cheaper. You fancy waking up as a brain in a tank?! It's natural to fear death to some extent unless you are either psychologically abnormal, or have reached heights of religious experience most of us will never enjoy. One thing that both your and my religion accept though is that death is a natural and inevitable process and represents moving on and (hopefully) up, albeit with rather different ends in mind.

I wonder how does she identify the word "enough"?

seriously those people are........!! I just can't believe them!

What if she died in a car accident or any accident that may scatter her body? maybe she will need another company to "assemble" her parts, then take the assembled body to the company that will "freeze" her body <_<

It doesn't work like that. Currently, anyway, the body has to be in reasonable condition (or as reasonable as it can be in the case of death!), and the cryonics people need access to the body within a few hours to start the process. If it isn't that's the end of it.

So therefore, its ridiculous to even think of something as SUCH. . .
The women needs guidance and defo needs to know the TRUTH of why she exists, shes asleep and snoring like a heavy sleeper would lol. . .

I don't see how its any more ridiculous than other forms of future tech or even how it would be against Islam. If you die and are brought back then it was always meant to be, and you have done nothing without Allah.

Cryonics people believe, in the future there is technology that can "assemble" human parts, or "renew" the bodies.

Did it ever cross her mind that that's never going to happen. She probably watched a frankenstein movie the night before or something. Besides, what good has she done that she should be brought back to life? Honesty, which world do these people live in? :exhausted

The sister is right - only Allaah (swt) has the ability to give and take life. In Islam, we have the concept of the soul, so to bring someone back to life would require some sort of control over their soul, which is clearly something beyond the capability of any human being.

One of the challenges to be found in the Qur'an is to either prevent death (become immortal) or to bring someone back to life:

[If you are indeed independent of a Supreme Being] Then why do you not [intervene] when [the soul of a dying person] reaches the throat?
And all the while, you are [helplessly] looking on,
But We are nearer to him than you, but you see not,
Then why do you not -if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense - Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful?

[Al-Waaqi'ah: 83-87]

When the soul reaches the throat at the time of death, it cannot be brought back.

And let us ponder over the following...

Say: "Allah gives you life, then causes you to die, then He will assemble you on the Day of Resurrection about which there is no doubt. But most of mankind know not.'' [Al-Jaatihyah: 26]

O MEN! A parable is set forth [herewith]; hearken, then, to it! Behold, those beings whom you invoke instead of God cannot create [as much as] a fly, even were they to join all their forces to that end! And if a fly robs them of anything, they cannot [even] rescue it from him! Weak indeed is the seeker, and [weak] the sought! [Al-Hajj: 73]

There is no power except through Allah, once the soul has left the body there is no coming back

It depends on if you call them dead or not, maybe they are just 'suspended'? Perhaps Allah knows these people will be brought back to life and so the soul does not pass the throat? I don't know.
There have been cases of people who were trapped under frozen lakes and "died" but were brought back up to an hour after "dying". How would you explain those instances?

Hmmm, Allaah (swt) knows best. In the end, each and every person has an appointed time and once they reach it, they can never come back. They can neither postpone that time nor advance it forward.

I was just watching a Larry King clip with a 93 year old guy this morning. He's very healthy etc and so Larry asked him "Do you believe in mortality?"

... I forgot his answer. He kept going off tangent, though. He said when he went to the doctor, the doctor told him to live it one day at a time and he has a long way to go.

I don't understand. Death is a fact and a reality. It can't be avoided. Why spend the time you have to live on trying to prevent the inevitable death? If anything is certain, then it's death.

Now that these celebs do it, it'll brainwash others to do it as well. Must people really be so stewpid?

Why spend money on healthcare? Why do research into new medicines? Why try and increase lifespan? Why go to the doctor?
Death may always exist but it doesn't have to be as common.

Unless you can find some other way of limiting the population it does. You would just have more violent death and less natural death.

Isn't that the direction we're heading in? The goal has always been to prolong life, and population is already rising at a crazy rate.. but I doubt we will be confined to this planet until the end of time so it is possible that one day it won't be a problem. The people being frozen probably aren't expecting the world to change in a week or 2, but in a few hundred years who knows right?
I'm not saying it will happen but lets say the probability is 5%. Britney must be worth at least a hundred million, and Alcor charge about $150K. That's <1% of her fortune for 5% chance to see the future. If I were a betting man (and worth 100 mill) I'd take those odds.

Exactly , once these Kaafirs who believe in coming back to life see one of Angel Azrael's subordinates saying " O you foul soul, come out to the anger and wrath of your Lord.' and then pulling their soul out like multi-pronged skewers being yanked out of wet wool - tearing with them the arteries and nerves" , they can kiss their cryogenic asses goodbye

This is called spending too much precious time in DUNYA, it takes one away from Allaah (swt), these people forget about their creator, they think about how they can sit here in this dunya forever and forever.
This stuff isnt going to help in any way what so ever. Spending too much money or Healthcare, by this you wont escape DEATH. Research is good if done for a good purpous, e.g. it can benefit others and yourself also, but Allaah also talks about many ways in the Quraan that you can treat yourself, by fruits, vegs etc There is benefit in diff types of fruit , like the vitamins they contain etc....Lifespan? You cant increase or decrease, Allaah has written for you what he has written for you!, you eat good foods you have a good health, you dont then you dont. You go to a doctor if your ill , have problems etc. Still they dont have control over your life, they have studied, done research etc thats how theyre known as Doctors.

Death comes once. . .
