:sl: sister h-n,
I totally understand where you're coming from and I agree with what you're saying. It's true that the end is very near, things are not going to be staying all peachy anymore, subhanAllah. It's true that we must remember the Akhirah because this is not a place to settle in, this is not our home. That's why we're put here though. We're here to worship Allah alone. We need to gather up as much as good deeds we can so that we may enter Jannah inshaAllah.
People cannot be arrogant as we are having the same test, and ending up together on the Day of Judgement. Even I do not believe that if I was, then Allah would have allowed me to learn what I know today. I came here to talk to Muslims, yes I have answered posts to non-Muslims but the focus in on the Muslim Ummah, its good if they learn about Islam and save themselves from Hell-but that is there goal.
Its not my goal to make somebody a Muslim, as that is their test from Allah, Allah has NEVER said its mine or any Muslim or a Prophet‘s job to make someone a Muslim, only to relay the message. If you could make somebody a Muslim, then they are NOT actually earning the reward in Paradise, they are NOT proving themselves. If any Prophet came into this world they would NOT be happy, and of course they would not be getting a camel like Prophet Salih peace be upon him, of course we don’t care about miracles etc, but a Prophet would not be praying for something special to happen to take heed of the message, as they have already witness so many disasters etc.
For what is underlined :
81:28. To whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight,
81:29. And you cannot will, unless (it be) that Allâh wills, the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists).
76:29. Verily, this (Verses of the Qur'ân) is an admonition, so whosoever wills, let him take a Path to his Lord (Allâh).
76:30. But you cannot will, unless Allâh wills. Verily, Allâh is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise
76:31. He will admit to His Mercy whom He wills and as for the Zâlimûn — (polytheists, wrong-doers) He has prepared a painful torment.
Of course, no one can make someone a Muslim. Allah guides whom he wills, but it's our job to spread the message of Islam.
As for what is in bold:
Hm, not too sure what you mean by that, sorry.
I like that you think of the next world sis. It's important not to get caught up in this world for it is not our home. Sadly, there's many injustice and sadness in the world, but inshaAllah justice will prevail. We will all get what we earn in the Hereafter. Although we do not enter Jannah with the amount of deeds we have, we enter by Allah swt's mercy.
Narrated Abu Huraira (ra):
Allah's Apostle :saws: said , "The deeds of anyone of you will not save you (from the Fire)." They said, "Even you (will not be saved by your deeds), O Allah's Apostle?" He said, "No, even I (will not be saved) unless and until Allah bestows His Mercy on me. Therefore, do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately, and worship Allah in the forenoon and in the afternoon and during a part of the night, and always adopt a middle, moderate, regular course whereby you will reach your target (Paradise)."
(Bukhari)
May Allah bestow his mercy on us and let us enter into Jannah. Ameen.
