Here is the question :
If someone is making salat/prayer alone and not intending to make jamaa'a prayer. But while he's making prayer, another brother stood near to him and joined him in order to have jamaa'a prayer. Will that be considered as Jamaa'a ? And could/should the brother who started alone change his intention from non-jamaa'a to Jamaa'a prayer in the middle of his salat ?

And if this has been already discussed please redirect me to the thread in question.

Depend on the second brother who joined later. If his intention is salat al jama'ah as ma'moom of the first brother, this salat is considered as salah al jama'ah. But if his intention is salah alone, these salah are not considered as salah al jama'ah.
And could/should the brother who started alone change his intention from non-jamaa'a to Jamaa'a prayer in the middle of his salat ?
He doesn't needs to change his intention. He becomes Imam automatically.
