This was a true story and I don't who is correct ! please see this

There was a daa'ee he was good in quran and hadees and he gives lectures to many people regarding islam

what happend was he had some difference of opinion in some fiquh matter with some other people who follows quran and hadees (I will name'em X)

Now what these X people did is they contacted this person pretending as a girl and convinced him to chat with her over IM and then this daee also was engaged in a bad chatting

Then what these X people did is they recorded all this stuff and black mailed him not to do dawaa or they will release this into public !

Now who is wrong here ?

1. The group which pretented as a girl decieved a daa'ee and convinced him to do a sin ?

2. Or the daa'ee who chatted in bad manner ?

Both of them were in the wrong. The first group guilty of deception/blackmail. The ends do not justify the means.
