You did not mention what language you need them in Urdu, English or Arabic ?

This is not a naat but still I love it.

Technically speaking, Its Manqabat- a poem that praises Sahaba e Kiram and/or other elders of Religion.

The title of this poem suggests it all.

I heard it somewhere that listening to na'at is not allowed...i.e. praising Prophet SAWS...many na'ats include chorus like...'ya rasool allah', 'ya nabi' and all that might seem like invoking The Prophet...

I prefer Hafiz Abu Bakr and Mufti Anas Yunus, myself.

Rabbana by Mufti Anas:

Hafiz Abu Bakr (Ideally, I'd scroll up or down whilst this is playing as to avoid looking at ghair mahrams.

I think it's just nasheeds in the urdu language.

Poems sung/said in praise of the Prophet :saws:, mainly in Urdu, but also in Punjabi etc.

Some of them can be very good, but some have been composed that involve shirk, making du'a to the Prophet :saws:, invoking the Prophet :saws: as if he is Omnipresent etc.

You have to be very careful and check the wording of the naat...

Naat is actually an Arabic word (na3t) which means description, same as sifah.

I suppose it's used in place of nasheed because it describes/praises the Prophet :saws: :hmm:

:salam:

:saws:

Messenger of God,

And with Islam gave us life,
And taught us to become
aides to The Religion

We became united by the light of his guidance
As brethren and relatives
And he watered our souls every time
they were thirsty for faith.

We inherited from him the laws of our lives,
and we made them high in status,
so we did not oppress or do injustice
nor go against our pacts,
and did not become arrogant, neither mischievous.

The messenger of God is our role model
He advised us to be on the right path,
For the sake of Truth,
how much did he sacrifice
and how much hardship
and suffering did he experience
and how much pain did he taste in many types of harm :"(

So he did not cease
and did not submit,
and did not bow,
and never leant (towards their way).

The enlightened in opinion
when the winds of injustice
were gusting and flooding,
A wise man who has bewildered
the world with magical words of clarification,
Merciful as he goes and judges,
and justice was the balance.

The Messenger of God

So Youth of Truth, advance
from the sanctuaries of worship like knights,
And in Islam take your example;
the guidance of the chosen one,

And walk and bring glad tidings to the world,
that the dawn has become clear,
And walk and bring glad tidings to the world,
that the dawn has become clear.
