Utterly regretful in the Hereafter

How much we will regret the precious seconds we wasted in this world!


How limited is our life and how can we really be sure that we will live until tomorrow. We have a 50% chance of dying at any moment and 50% is a huge chance of dying yet we live everyday like we will live forever in this world but we are asleep and so heedless. We do so much for this world and gain wealth, propertys and various other investments but if we die the next day then will this wealth and assets accompany us? The ONLY thing that will come with us is our good deeds. Our good deeds will be our companions in the grave and in the hereafter because they will be there for us when we REALLY need them the most, whereas what we gained in this world will leave us at the point of death.

So is it wise to spend our whole lives working for this world in expense of the next? Are we going to be here for that long that we should do so much for this world and neglect our final destination?

The succession of the night and day teach us an important lesson about this life; what goes will never come back again. This lesson is only understood by the wise people and leads them to invest all of their time in useful things as they realise that these times will never come back again. Once each second, minute, hour and day is gone it will NEVER come back. Yet our seconds go by and we do not even bother to ensure we make the best of how we spend them.

Rasulallah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) urged us to use our time in a useful way when he said: “Grab five things before five others: your youth before your old age, your health before your illness, your wealth before your poverty, your leisure before your work, and your life before your death.” (Al-Hakim)

He also indicated that we are to be asked about these times and how we invested them in the judgment day. Rasulallah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “A servants two feet will not move on the Day of Judgement until he is questioned about four (things): His youth, how he spent it, his knowledge, how he acted upon it, his wealth, how he earned it and how he spent it and his body, how he used/wasted it.” ( Al-Tirmidhi)

Worship in ones youth is the best worship that one will do in all of ones lifetime and this is because of the fact that this is the time that one will have the most desires and this is the time when one has passion, drive, determination and energy. The youth must use all of these things in wanting to spend their time pleasing Allah and doing those actions which will benefit them forever and NOT wasting their time in useless talk or meetings and especially on social networks on the internet and video games all of which are of no benefit to one in this world or the next.

So for the youth it is even more crucial NOT to waste ones youth on useless pursuits but in the worship of Allah so that one can be raised on the day of judgement as one who spent their youth in the worship of Allah.

So, whoever used his time for the benefits and pleasures of this life will regret after he died and his remorse will be very great at two times:

When he is dying he will wish that he is given another chance or extension to his life so that he may do good as Allah says:

In Falsehood will they be Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: “O my Lord! send me back (to life),- In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected.” By no means! It is but a word he says. Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. (23:99-100)

The key to success in this life and the next is making the hereafter the MOST important thing to us and making it our main focus. If we constantly keep the hereafter as our main focus everyday of our lives and strive as much as we can everyday to ensure that each second is spent on building up our hereafter then we will not go wrong inshallah.

Ibn Masood said: “I have never regretted anything as a day spent of my life without doing good deeds.”

How many days have we had like this where we have completely wasted them? On the day of judgement we would want to go back so that we could gain the HUGE rewards that are available just for saying Subhanallah!

Bilal ibn ass’d once said: if we are asked: ‘‘do you want to die?’’, we answer ‘‘No’’; and if we are asked ‘‘why?’’ we reply ‘‘in order to repent ad do good deeds’’. However if it’s said to us ‘‘Ok then do good deeds’’ we say: ‘‘Yes I will do’’; we keep working for this life everyday and postponing working for the hereafter.

We CANNOT afford to waste a single second in this life wasting it on that which will give us no benefit in this world or the next. Once our focus becomes the hereafter then NOTHING else will matter. Even things that we do in this world like work, study, look after and provide for family, parents, wife children etc will be like worship for us because we will do them for the pleasure of Allah. Even going to the toilet can be a worship if done in accordance with the Sunnah. Our WHOLE life from sleeping, eating, going to sleep and even breathing can become reward and worship with the right intentions so let us not waste a second more.

In the hereafter, when people are rewarded according to their deeds in this life, he wishes if he can go back to this life so he can do good deeds as he has experienced the hardness of punishment. Allah says:

They will say: “Our Lord! Twice hast Thou made us without life, and twice hast Thou given us Life! Now have we recognized our sins: Is there any way out (of this)?” (40:11)

Qatadah said regarding the last verse: By Allah, they don’t wish to go back to their families or clans, to get more of the pleasure of life, or to spend and fulfill their desires. Rather, they wished to return in order to perform and do acts of obedience to Allah - the Almighty -; God have mercy on those who do, in this life, the same good deeds and act of obedience that the unbeliever will wish to do when they meet the punishment in the Judgment Day.

Allah Also says:

But warn them of the Day of Distress, when the matter will be determined: for (behold,) they are negligent and they do not believe! (19:39)

Ibn Kathir provided the following translation for the latter verse:

(And warn them of the Day of grief and regrets) warn the creation of the Day of Distress.

(When the case has been decided) when the people of Paradise and the people of Hell will be sorted out, and everyone will reach his final abode which he was destined to remain in forever.

(While (now) they are) today, in the present life of this world.

(In a state of carelessness) with the warning of the Day of grief and regret, they are heedless.

(And they believe not) meaning they do not believe that it is true.


Imam Ahmad narrted that Abu Sa`id said that the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “When the people of Paradise enter Paradise and the people of the Hellfire enter the Hellfire, death will be brought in the form of a handsome ram and it will be placed between Paradise and the Hellfire.” Then, it will be said, “O people of Paradise, do you know what this is?” Then, they will turn their gazes and look, and they will say, “Yes, this is death.”' Then, it will be said, “O people of the Hellfire, do you know what this is?”' Then, they will turn their gazes and look, and they will say, “Yes, this is death.” Then, the order will be given for it to be slaughtered and it will be said, “O people of Paradise, eternity and no more death, O people of Hellfire, eternity and no more death.” Then the Messenger of Allah recited the previous Ayah; then, the Messenger of Allah made a gesture with his hand and said: “The people of this life are in the state of heedlessness of this life.”

Let us get ourselves out of this heedless state that we are in and let us make our ONLY focus the hereafter so that EVERYTHING we do we do to please Allah. Before we do any action we should just stop and think to ourselves "Is this action going to be of any benefit to me in the hereafter"? If it is not then let us do that which WILL be of benefit to us. This brief moment of reflection will help us throughout our lives because it will prevent us from wasting our precious time and it will enable us to spend our precious seconds pleasing Allah and doing good deeds.

A clever and intelligent person realises that they have such limited time in this world and therefore each second should be spent on doing that which will benefit them in the long term as oppose to in the short term. Short term gains are what we do for this world and long term gains are what we do for the hereafter. Now if we spend our lives living for this world then we will have gains which are so short lived and after we die what will we have for eternity? Whereas if we lived this life to a minimum and spent our entire lives working for the hereafter then we will benefit FOREVER!

This world is like a dream that will end at any moment and in the next world we will wake up from this dream and that is when reality will hit us but by then it will be too late to do anything about it. Our chance to act is NOW! Therefore we CANNOT waste a second more.

Let us spend our time learning about Islam and implementing what we learn into our lives as well as teaching others what we learn as learning is the best of all worship.

Let us enjoin good and forbid evil and give as much dawah as we can inviting people to the way of Allah. Let us attend the Masjid and keep good connection with it so that we can gain a good connection with Allah. Let us keep good and pious company and disregard those who do evil as bad company is like poison for us. Let us sit with the scholars and learned people and those who remember Allah.

Let us spend our time reciting the Qur'an as every letter is so much rewards that we cannot imagine. We will be raised among the levels of Paradise until we stopped reciting the Qur'an in this world. So let us keep reciting so that we can be raised to the highest stages of Paradise. Let us also learn the meanings of what we are reading so that we can understand what Allah is telling us and so that we can implement what Allah is telling us in the Qur'an into our daily lives.

Let us perfect our characters all of the time and whatever we need to change about ourselves for the better then let us constantly work on these things.

Abu Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, "Nothing will be heavier on the Day of Resurrection in the Scale of the believer than good manners. Allah hates one who utters foul or coarse language.''

Let us strive to be the best towards others in conduct and let us serve our parents as much as we can as serving ones parents is better than jihad.

Let us give as much as we can to charity for the pleasure of Allah for we will regret the money we wasted and did not spend in the way of Allah.

Let us also busy ourselves in prayer and much prostrations in the for of nawafil prayers because the more we prostrate to Allah in the form of prayer then the higher our ranks will be in the hereafter.

We should always ask of Allah in dua and know that dua is the weapon of the believer and this weapon should be used as much as possible for all of our duas that are not answered in this world will be stored for us in the hereafter and when we see the reward of those duas we thought were not accepted then we will wish that NONE of our dua's were ever accepted just so that we can gain these HUGE rewards.

We should be of the appreciative and thankful and always thank Allah for everything he has given us because he has done so many favours for us that we can never imagine. Allah gives more to the thankful and increases them in blessings.

-Allah likes those who are thankful [39:7]

-Allah rewards those who are thankful [3:144]

-Allah gives more benefits and blessings to those who are thankful [14:7]

-Allah protects those from harm who render Him thankfulness [54:34-35]


Also let us be patient through trials, hardships and adversities because they will help rid us of sin and it may be that a person who went through much trials in the world would face Allah with little or no sin and imagine how lucky that person would be on a day when we will tremble for the sins we committed in the world. What a terrible day that will be. So we should spend our time in repentance and have hope in the mercy of Allah and at the same time have fear that our repentance and deeds won't be accepted. Hope and fear should always be balanced and one should not have too much hope and one should not have too much fear but strike a balance between the two.

Let us keep our tongues moist with the remembrance and glorification of Allah, How easy is it for us to utter useless words but how much will we regret when we realise that instead of all the useless talk we did in the world we we could have glorified Allah and even one glorification of Allah like Subhanallah and La ilaha ilallah gains one rewards one cannot imagine. It is just that in this world we cannot see these rewards but when we will see the rewards for ourselves on the day of judgement then we will say "Woe to me i wasted my life in useless talk when i could have been glorifying and remembering Allah."

Hadhrat Mu'az [RA] narrated Rasulallah (sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The Inhabitants of Paradise will not be grief stricken or sorrowful about anything they did in the life of the world except for the time they spent without being in the remembrance of Allah” (Tabaraani)

We can remember Allah where ever we are no matter what we are doing and this is the best thing we can do in our lives is to constantly remain in the remembrance of Allah. If we alwyas have Allah in our hearts then we will do EVERYTHING to please him and refrain from anything that displeases him.

The Prophet of Guidance (sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) told us that remembrance of Allah is the best and the purest deed.

Abu Dardaa narrated that the Messenger of Allaah (sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “Shall I tell you of the best and purest of your deeds before your King, the one that elevates your position the most; that is better for you than meeting your enemies whose necks you strike and they also strike your necks, and better than spending gold and silver?” The companions said, “O Yes.” The Prophet (sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) then said, “Remembrance of Allaah, the Exalted.” (Ahmad, Tirmidhi and others).

My brothers and sisters let us take heed and make the changes in our life NOW for tomorrow may never come and then we will regret the precious short time we have wasted in our lives on useless pursuits.

Let us think before doing any action to ensure that EVERYTING we do we do to please Allah and if it will benefit us in the hereafter then we should do it but if it will only waste our time then we should not do it.

We CANNOT put this off any longer for shaythan will always say to us "You can change after you have done this or after you have done that, You can change next week or tomorrow". But tomorrow may never come so the time to change and act is NOW!

Al-Hasan Al-Basri said: “Seek sweet happiness in three things: performing prayer, Remembering Allah, and reading the Holy Quran. If you find (delight in those three things), it is alright. But if you do not, it means that the door (to Allah’s Love and Mercy) is closed; so search for the reason.”

Another of the righteous men said, “How miserable people of the present world are! They pass away from it without having tasted the most delicious thing therein.” And when he was asked: “What is the most delicious thing therein?”, he said: “Knowing Allah, the Almighty, loving Him, and remembering Him.”

So let us strive to make the best of each second of our lives to ensure that each second is spent on pleasing Allah and each second that we waste on that which will not benefit us in the hereafter will be seconds that are wasted and seconds that we will regret FOREVER!

How much we will regret the precious seconds we wasted saying were bored. There is SO much we need to do to prepare for the hereafter so how can we ever be bored? We will only have regret in the hereafter after we have found out how much time we have wasted. May Allah make us realise how precious each second is so that we will not be of those regretful ones. Hastening to do Good

عن أبي مالك الحارث بن عاصم الأشعري رضي الله عنه ، قال : قال رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم : ( الطهور شطر الإيمان ، والحمد لله تملأ الميزان ، وسبحان الله والحمد لله تملأن – أو : تملأ – ما بين السماء والأرض ، والصلاة نور ، والصدقة برهان ، والصبر ضياء ، والقرآن حجة لك أو عليك ؛ كل الناس يغدو ، فبائع نفسه فمعتقها ، أو موبقها ).
رواه مسلم [ رقم : 223 ]

On the authority of Abu Maalik al-Haarith bin al-Haarith al-Ash'aree (radiAllaahu anhu) who said : The Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said :

Purity is half of Eemaan (Faith). 'al-Hamdu lillaah' [Praise be to Allaah] fills the scales, and 'subhaanAllaah' [How far is Allaah from every imperfection] and 'al-Hamdu lillaah' fill that which is between heaven and earth. And the Salaah (Prayer) is a Light, and charity is a Proof, and Patience is Illumination, and the Qur'aan is a Proof either for you or against you. Every person starts his day as a vendor of his soul, either freeing it or causing its ruin.

The World in Three Days

It is reported from Al-Hasan Al-Basrî – Allâh have mercy on him – that he said:

The life of this world is made up of three days: yesterday has gone with all that was done; tomorrow, you may never reach; but today is for you so do what you should do today.

Imagine yourself after you pass away
Imagine your grave through night and through day
Wishing that you did not do as they say
Wishing that you had got up and had prayed.

Imagine, my friends, the day that you died
Imagine all of the tears that they cried
Remember how it felt when your body was tied
Remember how it felt in the grave which you lied.

Imagine the day you'll be called to account
Imagine the sum to which your life will ammount
Think for a moment of the deeds which you mount
Think for a moment how much they will count.

What will they say of you when you are dead?
What will they say, what will be said?
Will they speak of all the poor who you fed?
Will they remember all the Qur`an that you read?

Think not of them, but of Allah, Lord of mankind and jinn
Think of Allah when tempted to sin
Think of the paradise which you will dwell in
Don't wait till later to think what might have been.

How to avoid feeling Utter Regret in the Hereafter




In the name of Allah most gracious most merciful




Regretting the past


None of us are perfect as we are constantly committing errors, mistakes and falling into sin whether minor or major. But what we must do is to try our best to learn from our mistakes and be in a constant state of asking Allah for forgiveness and making sincere repentance with utter remorse and with the intention not to fall into such a sin again. Even if we do happen to fall into the same sin again then as long as our repentance is sincere then we will find Allah to be most forgiving and merciful to us as he looks for every excuse possible to be generous to his slaves and to forgive us. But we cannot deceive Allah in thinking that we can commit the same sin and ask for forgiveness and we will be forgiven as Allah knows us better than we know ourselves and he sees deeper into us than we can imagine.




Failure and making mistakes is the best way to learn lessons in life ut it is even better to learn from other people’s mistakes, but the worst of all is to keep making the same mistakes over and over again. The purpose of this life is for us to be tested. We are tested in different situations and circumstances and are tested by trials, hardships and adversities. Therefore we have plenty of opportunities to learn lessons in life and to train ourselves to become better people day by day and how to handle certain situation more effectively etc.




And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.). (Qur’an 2:155)




So the best thing we can do is not let the past stop us from making the best of the present. We should try to learn from the past and take lessons from it and not to worry too much about the future as the future is uncertain as we are unsure whether we have a tomorrow or not. So we should put everything into the present for what matters most is now, this very moment.




So letting the past or future affect our present is the worst thing we can do. We must live for now, and make the best of each second that is going by now as we cannot do anything about what happened yesterday or earlier on and we do not know about the future as we are unsure of how long we are here for, but what is certain is this very moment and it is this very moment each of us should make the best of in terms of doing everything to please Allah, investing into the hereafter, repenting sincerely with utter remorse with the intention to better ourselves and training ourselves to become better people.




Time passing quickly




Those of us who waste year after year, month after month, week after week, day after day, hour after hour, minute after minute, second after second, will surely regret the precious time that has been los which can NEVER be regained again. No price can regain what has been lost. So we must act NOW in order NOT to lose anymore of what has already been lost.




Do we desire this world or the hereafter?


Are we of those who desire this world or the Hereafter:




Among you are some that desire this world and some that desire the Hereafter. (Qur’an 3:152)




If we are of those who desire the hereafter then are we doing enough to prepare for it or do we just wish to do more? Then surely we do not have a single moment to lose. We all know how quick time is flying by. How often do we think to ourselves "How quick is time going? The year feels like it just started not long ago but it is nearly finished. How quickly have the years flown by?”




So with every moment passing, we draw even closer to death. We will never really know when death will confront us. Its date, hour and minute can never be known. We all will certainly die one day and will give an account of our deeds in the Presence of Allah. How many of us know of accounts of people succumbing to death in every situation? It is for this reason that we must always bear in mind that we may die at any second.




Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing). (Qur’an 3:185)




Time is short




We must also bear in mind that our time is short and that the good we invest into the hereafter will stop as soon as our short time in this life ends. Then why are we not investing into the hereafter as we should do? Why are we concerned with investing so much into this temporary life when we will not take any of the investments of this world into the hereafter? It will NOT come with us into our graves but ONLY the good we invested into the hereafter will come with us after our death. So surely we must get our priorities right.




And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). (Qur’an 93:4)


And this life of the world is only amusement and play! Verily, the home of the Hereafter is the real life if they but knew”. [Quran 29:64]




The deception of shaythan




The biggest deception of shaythan is to make us realise tomorrow. or the day after tomorrow, or after this event or after that event. He does not want us to act now, because he knows if he makes us put it off then we may forget. That is why we must shun this big deception of shaythan about taking steps tomorrow and take the necessary steps NOW before it is too late to do anything about it. Once death takes us and our souls pass our throats then it will be too late to act.

So we have until our souls pass our throats to ask for forgiveness and to go towards Allah. If not then we will be in utter regret and ask for another opportunity to live this life again but by then it will be too late. There is no other chance except for this life which is full of countless chances. So we can never say we weren’t given any chances as we were given more than we can comprehend.




Those are they who have bought the life of this world at the price of the Hereafter. Their torment shall not be lightened nor shall they be helped. (Qur’an 2:86)


The true reality of the Hereafter




So we should live each day constantly reminding ourselves of reality. The reality is that death is near and our time is short. Anyone who does not like such a reality is not alone but the fact is that we must live our daily lives with these reminders otherwise we will constantly get caught up in this world which is a curtain over reality. This life blinds our eyes from seeing what we really should be seeing. It conceals the reality of what is to come. If we knew the true reality what is to come then we would not even laugh but weep much:




The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:"By Allah, if you knew what I know, you would weep much and laugh little."[Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, #627]




Conclusion




Therefore we must act now and never forget that at any second any one of us might be caught by death and, though being full of regret, might not every again have the opportunity to correct the wrongs we committed in the worldly life. For this reason, we should lose no time in asking for repentance from Allah and living by His commands, doing everything to please him and refraining from anything that angers or displeases him and living our daily lives by the Sunnah of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam).




May Allah enable us to do everything to please him and to refrain from anything that angers or displeases him and may he enable us to make the best of each second and to live this life for the hereafter. Ameen

It is so easy to get caught into the rat-race of life.
One day just folds into another.....and before long, many many years have passed by.

We may have wealth, possesions, children, knowledge about this dunya - to show for it.
And while all this is permissible......how much do we have to show for our investment in our aakhirah?

We can turn every single action of our lives into an ibaadat - if only we paused, and changed our intentions.

Before we eat, sleep, change clothes, enter/ leave home, go to work, etc......do we remember to say the relevant duaa?
Do we stop to say: "Oh Allah - I am doing such and such.......seeking YOUR pleasure."

Immediately - what was simply just an action, a means of attaining a worldly desire.......has become something so much more - an act of WORSHIP.

How beautiful is this deen - while we depend completely on Allah (subhanawataála) for every breathe we take, He is rewarding us just for showing our gratitude and remembering HIM!

Personally, one of my deepest regrets in life is spending soo much my time in seeking knowledge related to this dunya.
And again, while this is permissible - and also a means of sawaab.......how do we continue to neglect the most important knowledge of all - that of our Islam.

It is only with knowledge of Quraan - the message of our Creator to His Creation, and knowledge of the life of the most beloved to Him - RasullAllah (sallahu alaihi wasalam), can we ever hope to attain nearness to Allah.

We dont need to strive to become great scholars of Islam.
But it is the Duty of each and every muslim to seek its knowledge.

Nothing we say is more severe than Hell & nothing more greater than Paradise:

Ali Ibn Abi Talib (Allah be pleased with him) said:

'Mention what you will of the greatness of Allah, but Allah is greater than anything you say.

And mention what you will of the Fire, but it is more severe than anything you say.

And mention what you will of Paradise, but it is better than anything you say.'

{Abu Bakr Al-Daynuri, Al-Mujalasah wa Jawahir Al-'Ilm article 853.}

What has passed of your life will not return to you!


One of the pious predecessors wrote to one of his brothers:"Oh my brother, it appears to you as if you are a resident (In this world). However, you are really only persistently travelling, and you are moving rapidly. Death is heading towards you, and this life is passing behind you. What has passed of your life will not return to you (in order to rectify it) on the Day of Resurrection."

So this short life is passing by us so rapidly. How often we think to ourselves how fast time is passing us by? This life is our ONLY opportunity to gain success in the Hereafter and after this opportunity has passed us then we will NEVER be able to gain back such a chance ever again.

Abû Hâzim said,"The merchandise of the hereafter is in little demand. It is about to be spent with no one obtaining it except a few, not many."

How much we crave for materialistic things which have many defects and are temporary and they are NOTHING compared to the merchandise of the Hereafter which hace no defects and will last forever! Such merchandise can only be gained through good righteous deeds.

So let us grab as much merchandise of the Hereafter as we can right now as tomorrow is not guaranteed and after death we will NEVER gain this opportunity again.

Therefore it is crucial upon the believer to take advantage of what remains from his life. In explanation of this, it is said:

"the remainder of the believer's life is priceless."

Everyone of us will be regretful in the hereafter

The people of hell will be regretful for their sins

Even the people of paradise will regret that they missed out on so many opportunities to do good deeds!

So in order for us to regret less then we must act now!

Ibn Jawzi’s Advice To His Son

“Know, dear son,
that days are but hours,
and hours are but breaths,
and every soul is a container,
hence let not any breath pass without any benefit,
such as on the Day of Judgment you find an empty container and feel regret!
Be aware of every hour and how it passes,
and only spend it in the best possible way;
do not neglect yourself,
but render it accustomed to the noblest and best of actions,
and send to your grave that which will please you when you arrive to it.”

The Graves are full of people who said that they will practice Islam before "old age" and change their ways, but they were decieved by their enemy Shaythan who made them procrastinate (put it off) until Death over came them.

Therefore "never" think you will start practicing or change tomorrow for Death may take you today. Then you may end up of those who will be in utter regret in the Hereafter FOREVER!

Hasan Ali Basri (Ra) said:

"Sell this life for the next and you win both of them. Sell the next life for this and you lose both of them". [Al-Hilyah 2/143]

We chase after this life each day but what we don't realise is that if we sold this life for the next then we can gain both!

“If you depart to the Hereafter without preparing the luggage of piety..
And on that Day you meet those who have..
You will regret not having been like them..
And that you had not prepared as they had.”

Utter regret in the Hereafter for not remembering Allah more often:

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No people sit in a gathering in which they did not remember Allah, nor send blessings upon the Prophet, but that it will cause them grief on the Day of Resurrection, even if they are rewarded with entry into Paradise.” (Musnad Aḥmad 9965)

Mu’adh ibn Jabal reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The people of Paradise will have no regrets, except for moments that passed by them in which they did not remember Allah.” (al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr lil-Ṭabarānī 182)
