A man was offering salah in his house. He was praying as fast as he could, as many of us do. All of a sudden, he heard the door behind him open. Since, someone entered the room, he started making his ruku and sujud longer.

Upon completion of the salah, he looked back to see who it was. To his amazement, it was a dog!

Today, we are ready to perfect our salah for a dog. But for the Creator, we rarely lengthen our qiyam, ruku and sujud.

Jazakallah Khair for the reminder.

We sometime only think about how people will think about us because we forget that what the people see will not benefit us and only Allah know what is hidden. We should always keep in mind that Allah is seeing us everywhere.

May Allah strengthen our imaan and make our prayers perfect. :)

Lengthening salah for anyone else than Allah is far more worse than we are thinking. It is categorized under Shirk, Shirk-ar-Riyaa. And our beloved Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam feared nothing more than the riyaa spreading into His Ummah. May Allah forgive me and everyone else that has done it unknowingly, knowingly...Amen!
