How long will it take to recite the following with full sincerety 100 times:

‘Laa ilaaha ill Allah waHdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul mulku wa lahul Hamdu yuHyi wa yumeetu wa huwa Hayyun laa yamoot, bi yadihil khayr, wahuwa ‘alaa kulli shay’in qadeer’

How long will it take? Around 20-25 minutes? For devoting a mere 20-25 minutes of ones time reciting this kalima 100 times: Allah will write for him a MILLION good deeds, erase a MILLION of his bad deeds (Minor sins) and build for him a house for him in Jannah .” (Tirmidhi)

Subhanallah! On the day of judgement each of us will BEG our own mothers and families for just one good deed but we will be rejected because all will be in need of every good deed they have.

Therefore let us spent this precious little time we have now to do this easy good deed. Surely this is a VERY worth while investment to spend everyday reciting this kalima 100 times.

After a few years or even decades can you imagine how many countless million or even billions of good deeds we would have accumulated? Imagine how many houses in Jannah we would have made?

Forget the temporary houses of this world let us invest just a little time everyday to make ourselves mansions like no other mansion this earth has ever seen in Jannah!

May Allah help us to make the best of the little time we have on this earth by remembering him in every aspect of our lives. Ameen

Assalaamu Alaikum. Jazakallah Khair Akhee Hamza. May Allah(swt) multiply your rewards. Ameen.

Mu`adh ibn Jabal said that the Prophet also said: "The People of Paradise will not regret except one thing alone: the hour that passed them by and in which they made no remembrance of Allah." Narrated by Bayhaqi in Shu`ab al-iman (1:392 #512-513) and by Tabarani. Haythami in Majma` al-zawa'id (10:74) said that its narrators are all trustworthy (thiqat), while Suyuti declared it hasan in his Jami` al-saghir (#7701).

Jazakum Allahu khayran my respected brother. May Allah love you and elevate your status in this dunya and Akhirah and all the Ummah Ameeeeeen what you have posted is the supplication which is said when entering the Market...

in the book of Supplication in Jaami Attirmithi:

-Umar reported that Allah’s Messenger ‘ said, “If anyone goes to the market and says: “There is no God but Allah Who is Alone; He has no partner; to Him belongs the dominion and for Him is all praise; He gives life and gives death; He is the Ever-Living Who will never die; in His Hand is all the good, and He is over all things powerful. “ “Allah will record for him a million pieties, and remit from him a million evil deeds, and raise him by a million ranks.

[Ibn Majah 2235]

-Allah’s Messenger said: If anyone says in the market. There is no God but Allah Who is Alone, Who has no partner; to Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise; He gives life and He gives death and He is the Living who never dies; in His Hand is all the good and He is over all things Powerful, then Allah will record for him a million good deeds, erase from him a million bad deeds and build for him a house in Paradise.

[Ahmad 327]

other narrations mentioning that amazing supplication in different occasions:

in the book of 'Beginning of Creation' of Sahih Bukhari:

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "If one says one-hundred times in one day: "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the Alone Who has no partners, to Him belongs Dominion and to Him belong all the Praises, and He has power over all things (i.e. Omnipotent)", one will get the reward of manumitting ten slaves, and one-hundred good deeds will be written in his account, and one-hundred bad deeds will be wiped off or erased from his account, and on that day he will be protected from the morning till evening from Satan, and nobody will be superior to him except one who has done more than that which he has done."

in 'The Book Pertaining to the Remembrance of Allah, Supplication, Repentance and Seeking Forgiveness (Kitab Al-Dhikr)' of Sahih Muslim:

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as saying: He who uttered these words:" There is no god but Allah, the One, having no partner with Him. Sovereignty belongs to Him and all the praise is due to Him, and He is Potent over everything" one hundred times every day there is a reward of emancipating ten slaves for him, and there are recorded hundred virtues to his credit, and hundred vices are blotted out from his scroll, and that is a safeguard for him against the Satan on that day till evening and no one brings anything more excellent than this, except one who has done more than this (who utters these words more than one hundred times and does more good acts) and he who utters:" Hallowed be Allah, and all praise is due to Him," one hundred times a day, his sins are obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: He who recites in the morning and in the evening (these words):" Hallowed be Allah and all praise is due to Him" one hundred times, he would not bring on the Day of Resurrection anything excellent than this except one who utters these words or utters more than these words.

'Amr b. Maimun reported: He who uttered:" There is no god but Allah, the One, having no partner with Him, His is the Sovereignty and all praise is due to Him and He is Potent over everything" ten times, he is like one who emancipated four slaves from the progeny of Isma'il. Rabi' b. Khuthaim narrated a hadith like this. Sha'bi reported: I said to Rabi': From whom did you hear it? He said: From 'Amr b. Maimun. I came to 'Amr b. Maimun and said to him: From whom did you hear this hadith? He said: from Ibn Abi Laila. I came to Ibn Abi Laila and said to him: From whom did you hear this hadith? He said: From Abu Ayyub Ansari, who narrated from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him).

in the book of Supplication in Jaami Attirmithi:

-Amr ibn Shu’ayb m reported from his father who from his grandfather that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “The best of supplication is the supplication on the day of Arafah. And the best of what I said - I and the Prophets before me is: There is no God but Allah Who is Alone. He has no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise And He is over all things power ful.

-Abu Dharr (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah’s Messenger said, “If anyone says after concluding the salah of fajr while he continues to sit (as he sat in salah during tashahhud), before speaking to anyone ten times: “ There is no god but Allah, Who Is Alone and Who Has no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and for Him is all praise. He gives life and He gives death and He is Omnipotent. “ Then ten pious deeds are recorded for him, ten evil deeds are erased from him, ten ranks are elevated for him, and all that day he is protected from every disapproved thing and the devil is not allowed to approach him, and that day no sin will ruin him apart from associating partner with Allah.

-Umarah ibn ash-Shabib as-aba: reported that Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: that if anyone says:There is no Good but Allah, Alone, Who has no partner. To Him belongs the kingdom and to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and gives death and. He is ommipotent. ten times after maghrib then Allah will send to him an angel to protect him from the devil till morning. Ten pious deeds will be written down for him and ten destroying evils will be erased from him and reward for emancipating ten believing slaves will be recorded for him.

- Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) Ansari reported that Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “If anyone repeats ten times:There is no God but Allah Alone, Who has no partner. To Him belongs all dominion and for Him is all praise (He gives life and gives death) and He is over all things powerful. then for him is a reward of releasing four slaves who were offspring of Isma’il.

[Bukhari 6404, Muslim 2693, Ahmed 23605]

How long would it take for one to say Subhanallah (Glory be to Allah) 100 times? 2-3 minutes?

Sa`d bin Abu Waqqas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: We were with the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) when he asked, "Is anyone of you unable to earn a thousand good deeds?'' One of those present asked: "How can one earn thousand good deeds in a day?'' He (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied, "By saying: Subhan Allah a hundred times, then one thousand good deeds will be recorded for him or one thousand sins will be blotted out from his record.'' [Muslim].

Subhanallah! for just 2-3 minutes of our time we can gain 1000 good deeds. On the day of judgement we will regret the seconds of our lives we wasted without gaining such huge rewards and the pleasure of Allah.

So let us repeat there words as much as possible throughout the day with full sincerety and be in no doubt these easy and simple utterings will be more useful to us in the hereafter than we can EVER imagine!
