just curious, how much is the price of gas where you live. For me it is three dollars a gallon.

They have said it will rise about 50 cents in the next few days, I feel sorry for anybody who is already paying more than 3.

Around US$ 1.9 here, for standard gasoline with 88 octane grade.

I remember complaining when gas got up that high. I wish it could go down to that now.

Will congress approve US govt to use method that used by Indonesian govt to make gas price low like that ?.
Indonesian govt bought gas in higher price and sell it to the people in lower price. In 2010 they spent more than US$ 6 billions for it. Without this subsidy gas price in Indonesia will going higher around (or more than) US$ 3 per gallon.
