Pro-democracy protests sweeping across the Middle East and North Africa have also hit Jordan, where opposition groups have held demonstrations demanding greater political freedoms.

Activists in Amman say now is the perfect time for the king to give up some of his sweeping executive powers and establish a constitional monarchy in the country.

I don't think its pro democracy they are after (gotta love the bias western media)...i think they just want their leaders out.
