As salaam mualaikum

I have two rings.

One is made of silver. This ring reminds me of the ring that the Holy Prophet (saw) wore, with his name engraved on it. The Holy Prophet used his ring to place a seal on the letters which he sent. Maybe one day I will make a new ring with my name engraved on it.

The other is a polished stainless steel ring. It has an engraving of the Chinese character "fu" meaning rizki on it. It reminds me of the hadith where the Holy Prophet told a Sahabah that he could offer an iron ring as dowry. This ring also reminds me of my late father. He likes to make his own steel rings. There is a lot that he had taught me about life. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough knowledge about Islam to encourage him to accept Islam before he passed away.

Do you have any rings? Do they have particular meaning to you?
