Surah Yusuf and
Surah Nur; an excellent preparation for Ramadan.
Shaykh Mohammad Akram Nadwi will be exploring the beautiful story of Yusuf and his brothers, and the many practical lessons to be learnt. From the verses of surah Nur he will be elaborating the importance of Islamic Law.
From the unique unbroken narrative of Surah Yusuf you will discover many lessons, from the consequences of sibling rivalry in childhood to the means of withstanding temptation in adulthood and bearing great roles of authority. This is a Surah saturated with lessons of patience, wisdom and forgiveness against jealousy, dishonesty and unlawful desires.
From Surah Nur you will learn about the wisdom behind the Shariah laws and the ethics of living in civilised society. It will explore the benefits of marriage and the consequences of fornication and wrongly accusing chaste women. You will discover how Allah revealed the innocence of Aisha and learn about the beliefs of those who deny her lofty status.
