k like i just got this book free gift and its got a bit about making wudu and its got a dua for before wudu it looks like it says:

Bismi-Allahi-wa-alhamdu-lilahi

but it dusnt's say what it means i mite hav got it wrong like but maybe u can tell what its supposed to say?

It should say:

Bismillahi wa billahi wal hamdu lil lahil lazi ja'alal ma'a tahura wa lam yaj alhu najisa.

Which means:

I begin my ablution in the Name of Allah. All praise is due to Allah, Who made water purifying, and not najis.

When you read a transliteration, keep in mind many Arabic letters have no corresponding sound in the English alphabet, so very often the transliteration will vary from writer to writer. they are an attempt to use English letters and have the Arabic pronunciations.
