Hello my brothers in humanity, the name is Don.

I joined this site because I'm interested to learn about Islam, and it's principles and beliefs because so many are hurling blind insults at you and your historical significance.

I want to know all about Islam and the history behind it, because I have actually tried to ask non-muslims and many of them gave diffrent opinions it was just ridiculous.

It was obvious that none of them had even attempted to understand you guys :P

I love History by the way, I can't get enough of it. I read practicaly anything.

My parents are atheist... But I on the other hand, beleive there is a creator. I jut haven't decided my path yet or in other words what religion to follow. So, yeh, I hope this site turns out to be very usefull in my quest for knowledge.

I find it appealing, whatever the media tells about Islam, Muslims (in majority) remains at peace about it
if you would think, Muslims are 1/3 of this world so if we will do the same thing, we can defeat the media easily,
but I guess we live it that way, because there is better way to defend ourselves and in fact, this in return makes others to be interested about our religion (like you now)

inshallah you will gain more knowledge about us
even you will not be Muslim one day (bcoz this is only in the hands of Allah), atleast you are not one of them who talks without educating themselves first.

Is this me posting again? Seriously, you sound a lot like me. I'm a huge history nerd as well.

The only thing different is that my parents are both Christians while I used to be an atheist for a few years.
