I was wondering why I cannot reply to the thread "Quest for Knowledge" in this forum. I was wanting to direct the OP in that thread to BBC's documentary, "An Islamic history of Europe", since he stated he is fond of history. I understand the "Limited member" and 50 posts thing but i don't get why my account is restricted to reply to another thread.

Do you mean "Quest for knowledge" thread ?. As limited member you cannot reply a thread in introduce yourself section, except in the thread that created by yourself.

Ha ha. Thanks for the welcome. I am not exactly a History nerd. Actually I was browsing another thread where some one was interested in Islamic History. I had just seen a nice documentary recently and I thought I would share.
