Okay to get it short, I'm stuck in the bad habit of masturbation & porn. I HAVE searched that there are several threads regarding this issue and I have tried to follow the advises and have failed......................

I pray daily even nafl prayers and I ask Allah to help me avoid this sin but there is no effect..

I know that duas are answered in a way judged by Almighty's infinite wisdon, but What can be a better way to accept this dua? And if it is my fate to go in hell, what is my role in it? How can Al-'adl be unjust? I know we shouldn't be disgraced with the mercy of Allah but I cannot see any point... I am hopeful that Allah will forgive me if he wills but why would Allah forgive one who commits the sin repeatedly and asks for forgiveness every single time he commits it, makes a firm resolve to avoid it, but falls for it again?... I mean.. Isnt it Allah's will that I am doing this? Isnt it destiny? then whats my fault???

Assalamu alaikum brother,

Just advised another brother with a simmilar problem please look at his thread on Advice and Support.

Struggling with something HARAM-Please HELP me (IMPORTANT)! .

Inshallah you try the same advise and should you find your case to be different or ineffective please post again.
Do not forget as Allah S.W.T says "no person is burdened beyond their capacity to bear" (not ad verbum)
There are also two parts in Destiny one that can't be changed as per birth and death and one that can change with good deeds and effort for Allah S.W.T's Mercy has no bounds for those who submit themselves to Him.
The best defence aganst despair is Iman, knowledge and good deeds.
Our duty is to try for ours is the effort, sucess is in Allah S.W.T hands.
"Tawakal Allah" Place your trust in Allah S.W.T for He ignores not one soul who calls on Him.

Masalam

The worst part is that I am a student of knowledge, and this sin has started since then. I have not been doing this act earlier but I dunno how and why have I started it... It seems that I am not myself when doing this. So my .. i mean.. I know that everything happens by Allah's will and for good But I am unable to get firm belief on "wal qadri khairihi wa sharri hi minallahi ta3la" part

I don't understand why you have to bring destiny into this. There is no point assuming it is Allah's will etc. No reason to go down that line of thought.

The matter is simple. Don't overcomplicate unnecessarily.

We sin -> We repent -> We hope for Allah's mercy.
We sin again -> We repent again -> We continue to hope for Allah's mercy.

Keep in mind, we are not perfect. We will ALWAYS sin in some way or another. Allah wants us to humble ourselves in repentance and not lose hope in his mercy. There's always going to be a cycle of ups and downs.

Repent often and don't lose hope in the mercy of Allah whilst striving to avoid that sin.

well bro i give u only one advice and i am sure it will work if u practice it. (im sure bcz this solution is described in hadith).
Control ur diet. fast or eat as much less u can. dont take rich protiens, sugars, meat and heavy diet. use milk if u feel weakness. sometime we just eat bcz of hadit and there is no huger in actual. so once u overcome this habit of eating, u see there will great effect of fasting or less eating insh.

AsSalamu Alaykom.

Bro we need to make a difference between Qadar and Intention : Every thing we do (Intentionally AND Unintentionally) is Qadar. But we will be only judged about the acts that we did with our intention : If we kill someone unintentionally (car accident, etc) it's qadar but we are not punished for that. But if we kill someone Intentionally, that's qadar too but we will be punished for it.

The point is to keep ourselves away from intending to do sins, under the pretext of Qadar.

Now, I'm sure you know better than me what to do to get rid of this habit, but it's always good to remember each other with advices, because we all sinners and no one is ma'soom from any type of sin. these are some hints :

- keep yourself busy : work, sport, prayer, meeting friends, reading, every thing you want ...
- try to change your environement or your lifestyle, a little bit : change your room decor, keep your door open (don't lock yourself). put your Pc where every body can see you to force yourself to not watch something bad.
- make a healthy life : eat healthy food, make sport, don't stay too late in the night, make good sleep.
- try to keep your imaan in a highest level : stop sins, do hasanat, read quran.
- listen to lectures, or attend sheikhs courses : if you can do that daily it's good.
- remember death : keep thinking about the day you face death and about the day of judgement, and listen to lectures about that.
- make fasting.
- consider getting married soon.
- Make Dua

May Allah help you and all of us.
