Can you make dua if someone has wronged you ? not directly wish bad for them...but a sister recently told me there is an incident where Rasulullah s.a.w was so upset, he held his hand up to the sky and started praying to Allah for retribution to certain specific people. He mentioned their names one by one ( dont know the exact names, but they were among the enemies of Islam at that time). Those names that rasulullah s.a.w prayed for, all of them died in battles after that and this is why we are reminded not to be cruel to anyone because the du'a of victims of cruelty are very mustajab (one of the most easily accepted by Allah)

So is it permissible to do so ? provided you have been wronged by that person. Ive never heard of this before.
