:sl: Brothers and Sisters,

I was wondering whether i could gain any knowledge or anyone experienced knows best way to recover from a severe ear infection that has led to vertigo i.e. dizzyness and not being able to stand up or sit up straight, my niece has become very ill over past few days, I've taken to hospital and GP and they prescribed over 5 types of medication to deal with this but i see little improvement though its been 2 days.. If anyone could explain if this could have any lasting affect or give me a better understanding i'd be grateful. Please pray for her swift recovery inshallah :)

I'm sorry to hear that. Make sure she takes the antibiotics and gets lots of rest. Inshallah she will start to recover soon.

How old is your neice and how long has she had this for, and has she suffered from any recent upper tract respiratory problems?

I would advise u to take her to a homeopathic doctor, as they may be able to assist the treatment.

I searched for some homeopathic doctors based in london and found:

http://www.homeopathyinlondon.co.uk/...FRQNfAodsE6eLQ

Also, certain foods in your neices diet could be contributing towards her condition or delaying healing - they need to be eliminated from her diet straight away (e.g. starchy foods). And, certain foods and vitamins need to be added (esp Vitamin C). Would advise u to see a good and experienced nutritionist, who could offer some dietary advice on this, and help strengthen her body's natural resitance.

All of this combined will give your niece a better chance of recovering faster inshaAllaah.

May Allaah :arabic2: give her shifaa. Ameen.

My niece had it to not long ago, and when she was given a bath water went into her ear and it caused her pain and now she hates her bath long after the infection :ermm:

I agree with memeber X... Make sure her diet is in check. My niece's infection pus would sometimes come out so we stopped with the oral medication and used cream. :hmm:

:sl: Bro and Sis,

Thank you for your suggestions my niece is feeling much better steadily back on her feet again and causing havoc again ;D but be a few days before a full recovery inshallah. And @ member X she has hearing difficulties in both ears so its a recurring ear infection but this time it had gotten very bad to point of vertigo, had to push the doctors to refer her to a ENT specialist but thank you for looking up the homeopathic i will be sure to look into it aswell :)
