Not sure, I think Australia and America have big spiders though.
I tend to use a jar or transparent container of some sort to trap creepy crawlies in and place them out of the house.

That's too risky bro, I remember seeing this sort of gun thing where you place it over the spider, shoot and it sucks the spider up in this air thing, and then you go outside and shoot again and it releases the spider. It was on those shopping channels but I can't remember what it was called.

Lol why would it be risky? Don't think it's common to come across any poisionous ones in the UK.
Sounds like a cool device. :><:

These are the spiders i see quiet often in my home.... and these ones have been much more on the larger size this year....
i think i read somewhere it was due to the warm spring we had in the UK.
Occasionally i see a small money spider
As long as they keep their distance and eat any fly that may wonder in they are more than a welcome visitor to my home :D

Cockatiels look a bit like Kakarikis. They're much better than those horrible hairy crawly things anyway.

I think Kakarikis are more difficult to tame. Some pet birds can be a nightmare...
If I had to choose between a cockatoo and a spider, I'd prefer to keep a spider.

I saw lots of lizards in the past few months, of every shape, colour and size. The smallest ones were probably around an inch long and looked like those little toys you can get. Kinda cute.
Spiders too. Did you know that baby scorpians (for want of a better word) look like spiders to the untrained eye?? I killed one thinking it was a spider then found out it was actually a little scorpian...felt pretty pleased with myself for carrying out an act of such bravery! :statisfie
Of course, I also screamed the house down when I saw a 2-inch long black scorpian.
So yeah... some creepy crawlies are fascinating. Yucky, but fascinating. If I'm a safe distance away.

Im not scared, atleast not from the small ones. I grab them in tissue or container and throw them out and also save them from drowning in the sink or bath tub alhamdulillaah. It was a spider which spun a web infront of the cave when Prophet :arabic5: and Hadrat Abu Bakr (ra) where hiding it in. Thats why I dont like killing them. :-\

Same here! I love spiders, all kinds. If I see one inside, I get a paper and try and get the spider to walk onto it, then put it outside. I really dont like it when people say 'KILL IT' , what did the poor creature do to them?? And I also get annoyed when people say they are ugly/gruesome, excuse me but they might be the 'hottest' of their kind :giggling:
I also remember the story about the spider in the cave, so I dont feel like doing anything bad to them. I even talk to them sometimes like 'hellow, spidey widey, lets get you outside'.

I'm afraid mummy Abdullah became Abu Ankaboot's dinner... or is it the other way around, and Abu ankaboot is actually a she?

I would name the big spider Envy and call the small spider Gluttony.
