Assalaamu'alaykum,

Messege from his sister:

This is a message regarding a Muslim brother called Babar Ahmad. He was brutally arrested by British police and suffered well documented injuries as a result of his inexplicable arrest. By the time he reached the police station Babar had sustained at least 73 forensically recorded injuries, including bleeding in his ears and urine. .He has never been told why he has been arrested and to this day, has not been charged- he has been in prison for seven years. Barbar is the longest detained-without-charge British detainee held as part of the global ‘war on terror.’

Please read the following message from Babar Ahmad's sister and please spare a minute to sign the petition.

Thank you.

"Everyone always asks what they can do to help us, help my brother. This will only take two minutes of your time. Every single signature counts. Even if 1000 ppl ask 1 person every day to do it, we can achieve our target. We are not asking much, we have tried every single legal route over the last 7 yrs and we are trying this.

Please help us bring him home before next ramadan, so like everyone else we can all break fast together again as a family.

Sign the petition to put my brother Babar Ahmad on trial in the UK and stop his extradition. 100,000 signatures needed by 10/11/11 for the issue to be eligible for parliamentary debate. http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/885

Please fwd to everyone you know. Jzk".

This was forwarded to me and was originally from a sister who's brother is detained without any charge in prison for the past 7 years and all they want is a trial in the UK.

The petition only takes a few minutes to fill out so please sign the petition and forward this email to as many people as you can urgently as they only have until 10/11/11 to get 100,000 signatures. This is such a small amount to sacrifice especially as we will all be held accountable for our actions on the last day.

JazaakAllah Khair.
