"Sheikh Abdur Raheem Green's father passed away as a Muslim ten days after reverting to Islam.

Sheikh Abdur Raheem, is a British convert to Islam and notable for being a speaker on Islam Channel and Islamic Education and Research Academy, announced the death of his father Gavin Green on his official Facebook page.

"Around 10 days ago, my father said the testimony of faith and a few days ago despite him being barely able to talk we spent half an hour repeating over and over the Shahaadah." He said.

"Last night at 22:20 I received a call from my mother informing me that my father passed away. He died as a person of Eman. Please continue to make Dua'a for him and of course that my mother is guided to Islam." He added.

May Allah have mercy on his soul and grant him Janat Al Firdaus, and may He have mercy upon us all.

Inna lillaaahi wa inna ilayhi raaji'uun.

although it seems like a sad news on the surface, this is actually a great news. His father passed away right after his past sins wiped away Insha Allah.
May Allah forgive his past mistakes and accept all his amal ibadah. ameen.
