As-Salāmu `Alaykum (السلام عليكم):

Because the practicing Muslims allow it. We sit idle when we know
that supporters and sympathizers of corrupt regimes are allowed
to control the voices.. The Arab Spring and Autumn didn't begin
with those who have everything to lose and nothing to gain with
abolishing these corrupt regimes. Many attending the Wests best
educational establishments have been funded via the regimes.
Al-Imran (The Family of Imran) 3:104

Waltakun minkum ommatun yadAAoona ila alkhayri wayamuroona bialmaAAroofi
wayanhawna AAani almunkari waolaika humu almuflihoona

3:104 (Y. Ali) Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good,
enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity.

Luqman (Luqman) 31:17

Ya bunayya aqimi alssalata wamur bialmaAAroofi wainha AAani almunkari waisbir AAala ma asabaka inna thalika min AAazmi alomoori

31:17 (Y. Ali) "O my son! establish regular prayer, enjoin what is just, and forbid what is wrong:
and bear with patient constancy whatever betide thee; for this is firmness (of purpose) in (the conduct of) affairs.

No matter the best intent the cultural, ethnic, and tribal biases don't allow for any
medium controlled by sympathizers of corrupt governments to be a tool for open
dialogue to voice against hundreds of years of corruption.

The sad fact is that when a practicing Muslim speaks against
the corrupt regimes those born or raised in that country or region
feel a civic duty to defend that which is indefensible.

If you are not associated with the corruption there is no need to defend it.

Corruption is not determined upon a persons ethnicity or region.

There are pious practicing Muslims throughout the world. Alhamdulillah

Unbelievable how the tone changes when the Arab Spring and Autumn
has been victorious in countries they wouldn't allow any voice of displeasure.
