It is a matter of quality vs price in domains and emails as well. Hence, don't go for cheap stuff. Moreover, domains are cheap. They are charged some vague $10/year. I'd recommend namecheap.com because it is very popular, I've had a great experience with it and it also gives free "whois guard" subscription for a whole year. A WhoIs guard hides your registered information from the web public.
