Hello everyone,
Well, I live in Europe and I'm a student at a high school. I'm interested
in philosophy, theology, occultism, spiritualism and so on.
My purpose on this forum is I want to learn more about Islam, its ruling
system, political views, hierarchical system and its connection with the
two other Abrahamic religion -- Judaism and Christianity.
Now about my religion... there was a time when I was religious, my
ex-religion doesn't matter -- in this case. I've been an atheist since
5 months. I left my religion, church and community as well. Right now,
I'd still say that I'm an atheist, although many things have changed
about my views in the last 2 months. So I'm not on a 'trip', where I
want to find out which religion is the true straight way to God and his
heaven, but to take a tour in Islam.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you,
SeekingJoy

Thank you, Qatada.
I've actually studied Islam in Malaysia, in an Islamic high school, religious
teachers taught me Islam. I was for a year and a half. I also learned
how to read and write Arabic. Yes, I can read the Quran -- but I can't
speak Arabic well. I just know a few things of the Arabic language's
grammar like past and present tense, singule/plural and double rule and
these things.

I'm sorry, but the name "Qatada" was a mistake, I don't know where I
got it from. I just read back your message, then I realized your actual
name is "Muslim Woman". :statisfie :statisfie :statisfie
So... thank you, Muslim Woman. :embarrass

Okay, I'm confused and just saw that I was correct. Just too many
people replied at the same time. So my post was correct. :D
To Muslim Woman: my previous post isn't for you then. And I've already
asked a question, although it's not visible yet -- it's waiting for approval.
I'm sorry,
SeekingJoy

Well, yes, I may know more about the Arabic language. But shouldn't you be the onewho should know more? Since you're a muslim and your holy book is in Arabic, shouldn'tthat be the purpose to understand your God's sayings in the original language?

yap sure . But sadly I did not get any chance the learn the lanaguage. I know how to recite Quran . Normally I read translation first , then read Quran to understand what God says . InshaAllah will try to learn Arabic online if can manage a speedy net connection.

Well, yeah that was a nice one. But I reject to believe in God -- if he
exists or not. I don't need him in my life to tell me what's good and
what's not, I can decide that too. And life's much more enjoyable
when you find out things instead of saying 'that was done by God'.
Then there's nothing to stand for, because God gave all.
