Asalaamu alaykum

Just a quick query - when eating Halal, is it okay if I still buy fish products like salmon or prawns from supermarkets like Morrisons or ASDA? I have never heard of these being an issue in terms of halal/haram and needing to buy it from specific places right?

wa alaykum assalam wa rahmatullahi wb,

Yes sis, you can buy from fish (or anything else for that matter) from non muslim shops. What made you think you can't? : )

Thank you!!!

It is mainly a waswas issue that made me want to look into it. I think I have seen fish/prawns etc being sold at a Muslim butcher shop (maybe for the first time ever) as well but never really thought much about that though .

Thank you for your help sis :)
