The purpose of this site is to present an introductory one sheet leaflet on Islam, that very briefly and succinctly gives the main information for those who want to know what Islam is, and what Muslims believe, but who don't have a great deal of time to read swathes and swathes of information, perhaps for whom even a short booklet would be too long.

I know there are other leaflets out there, I have read a few, but felt that some parts of them weren't clearly or well explained, some were too long, fonts were too small etc. All had some good points, but there wasn't a leaflet that I'd be 100% happy to hand out from every aspect.

I have prepared this leaflet myself, and have taken some help from other sources for parts of the prophets, hijaab, terrorism and finally sections. I thank two sisters who have read over it for me and offered comments.

I produced a leaflet on a standard sheet of A4 paper (and also now US standard paper), printing on both sides, and fitted in what I thought was most important that covered the main topics. It folds into one third the size of the page, and takes up virtually no room in a pocket or bag, and weighs next to nothing.

Sometimes we may not have time to give an in depth talk on Islam, may not wish to get into discussion, and might just want to give the main facts on Islam, or may not feel that we can verbally convey what we want to in an eloquent manner, and that's when this leaflet can come in.

It is downloadable on the link on the main page, and for those not wishing to download, the text is also printed to read online.

It takes no more than approximately 5 minutes to read.

I hope that non-Muslims will read/download it with an open mind, and that Muslims will print it, keep it in their bags, and would feel confident handing it out as da'wah, and to those who express an interest in Islam.

May Allah guide all to the truth, ameen.

The following is the text of the leaflet. It is much clearer than this image when printed, and can also be read HERE if the images are too small or blurry:

Please feel free to read, download, print, give away, use as you wish, and share the link with others.

Please also let me know if there are any mistakes, or if there are any improvements that could be made, though due to lack of space I might not be able to accommodate them, but all suggestions welcome.

This is an awesome idea. I've been wanting to work on a project like this with others for ages.

Here's another text i wanted to produce into a leaflet;
http://islamicboard.com/discover-isl...tart-here.html

The content can all fit onto a leaflet size paper (minus the picture), i have seen it myself that way.

I have also found these leaflets, printed them and they are really good quality;

I also hope to help produce leaflets which are like targetting an Atheist/Agnostic based audience in the near future, incase anyone wants to co-operate with me on that and help inshaa' Allah.

Jazaakallah khayr for these leaflets too, which are one topic per leaflet. They look good, and are useful to know about.

There have been changes made to the leaflet today, mainly additions, in the following sections:

The concept of God
Prophets
The Qur'an
Accountability
The Day of Judgement
Does Islam advocate violence?

The additions have meant though, that the font size has had to be smaller.

Also the PDF formatting of the US sized leaflet was wrong, and this has been corrected, so that it should now print out and be able to fold correctly in the right places on US letter sized paper.

You can see the leaflet and download directly from here:

On the website, www.leafletonislam.blogspot.co.uk, the changes made in the leaflet have been incorporated, along with updates to the references, new download links, and new pictures.

Please feel free to download, print out, and use as a da'wah leaflet.
