Now voted best year of your life on earth too

Age 33 voted best year of life

NEWJERSEYNEWSROOM.COM

I always thought age 33 meant your twenties were a thing of the past, and you were headed for the next plateau: 40.
But a British website survey says that most people believe 33 was the best year of their life.
According to research of people over 40 by Friends Reunited, 70 percent of people were happiest at age 33. Results showed that just six percent of people were happiest in college, and only 16 percent longed to return to childhood.
Researcher Donna Dawson, told the site: “The age of 33 is enough time to have shaken off childhood naivety without losing the energy and enthusiasm of youth. By 33 innocence has been lost, but our sense of reality is mixed with a strong sense of hope, and a belief in our own talents and abilities. We have yet to develop the cynicism and weariness that comes with later years.”
SFGate.com lists celebrities turning 33 this year as Katie Holmes, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Adam Levine, Rosario Dawson, John Krasinski, Tatyana Ali, Pink, Kourtney Kardashian, and Norah Jones. Chef Gordon Ramsay opened his first restaurant at the age of 33.
According to Mail Online, 53 percent - said life was more fun at 33, and 42 percent were more optimistic about the future. One out of three respondents said that happiness came from their children, and one out of five believed it came from a successful career.
A single woman from Springfield, New Jersey, Christine Possemato, age 35, says she was just hitting her stride at 33.
“You’re a lot more confident, and you can attract younger guys,” she said, according to the New York Daily News.

I think it is the unfortunate price of 'progress' financial, emotional and physical ability is pushed up.. 40 is the new 20, 60 is the new 40 it is odd.. unfortunately however the body still runs on a medieval clock even if the brain has progressed..
Hope is always from Allah insha'Allah..

I was just bemused since the age upon which people enter paradise is 33 and that does seem to be the juncture where you can indeed marry the vigor of youth with the sensibility of wisdom.. Sob7an Allah..
can you find that hadith btw?

what does this have to do with the age upon which people enter paradise ..

I think the age upon people enter paradise has to do more with your physical maturity, which is between 19-22

Are we guessing or speaking from knowledge?

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad

is His slave and Messenger. Authentic texts have been reported about the age of the people of Paradise that all of them will be at the same age, which is thirty three. Abu Hurayrah

narrated that the Prophet

said: “The people of Paradise will enter Paradise hairless (in their body), beardless, white colored, curly haired, with their eyes anointed with kohl, aged thirty three years.” [Ahmad] This applies to all the people of Paradise and we are not aware of any evidence that women are different from men in this regard. When interpreting the verse in which Allaah Says (what means): {And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age.}[Quran 38:52], Al-‘Ayni

said: “This means that they [the women] will have the same age, thirty three years old.” Moreover, no scholar among the Salaf (righteous predecessors) has ever distinguished between the age of men and that of women. As regards the Shaykh whom you mentioned in the question, then you may ask him about his evidence for his claim. Furthermore, the Saying of Allaah (which means): {And full-breasted [companion] of equal age.}[Quran 78:33], means as stated by the scholars of interpretation of the Quran that they are of the same age. The verse did not determine the age, so it does not contradict the Ahaadeeth that determined the age of the people of Paradise. Allaah Knows best.
