Now voted best year of your life on earth too
Age 33 voted best year of lifeNEWJERSEYNEWSROOM.COM I always thought age 33 meant your twenties were a thing of the past, and you were headed for the next plateau: 40.
But a British website survey says that most people believe 33 was the best year of their life.
According to research of people over 40 by Friends Reunited, 70 percent of people were happiest at age 33. Results showed that just six percent of people were happiest in college, and only 16 percent longed to return to childhood.
Researcher Donna Dawson, told the site: “The age of 33 is enough time to have shaken off childhood naivety without losing the energy and enthusiasm of youth. By 33 innocence has been lost, but our sense of reality is mixed with a strong sense of hope, and a belief in our own talents and abilities. We have yet to develop the cynicism and weariness that comes with later years.”
