He is speaking the truth. It is almost impossible to be a mu´min in this world. It is scary. There are sins EVERYWHERE.

Also he is right in that we are not short of scholars but where are they? Why are they not more pro active? Why is it so difficult for a normal Muslim to get hold of a scholar? I have several scholars in my phone book but even then i cannot get hold of them a lot of the times. They are just not as accessible as they should be. Things need to change. Scholars need to understand that they are needed byu the community and therefore should not reside behind closed doors but get out there into the community and invite the youth and other Muslims towards the deen.

They scholars should speak out more in the Masjid and not be tied down by the Masjid committees. There should be more home grown scholars in our local masjids and not just those who speak ethnic languages that many of the locals do not understand. The scholars should relay their knowledge more to normal people and not just to those that pay £20 fee for a 2 day intensive course. Things need to change and scholars need to really wake up and become more proactive otherwise our youth in particular will continue to decline. But obviously nothing should stop us normal Muslims giving dawah to our fellow brothers and sisters and in particular to the youth.

May Allah enable us to become proactive members of our communities and invite others towards the deen and salvation. Ameen
