assalam o alaikum sister.

To reply to advice and support section you have to be a member of one of the gender's section.
I think sister's section is on some cleanup process. thats what it says on its door :p..
May be you have to wait till it re opens to apply..
hope our sister mod will explain it better...

Why do we have to be part of either the Sister's or Brother's section just to post in the 'advice and support' section? From what has been said before, the Sister section is no longer being looked after. Half a year is rediculous to need to 'clean' it up. It can be cleaned up in probably 5 minutes, simply by deleting all the posts current there and starting 'fresh', if nobody is able to or willing to pick and choose what should stay and what should be removed.

I don't know about others but I do find it rather frustrating not to be able to post in the 'Advice and Support' sections. Its almost not even worth reading threads there anymore...as there are many times I feel I can give helpful/useful advice especially with topics/questions that aren't Hadith or Qur'an specific. Nor do I really understand why Brothers and Sisters have to post 200 and 300 posts respectfully just to be able to access and post into the relative section. I can understand having to do 50 posts to get full access but this should be FULL access not just most access. Just seems to add more administrative work in the long run and creates user frustration as they try and figure out why they can't post responses etc even after gaining full memberships.

^ Sister cat eyes and dqsunday, Have you written your concerns in the Helpdesk Section?

It may be read and noticed a lot more quickly than in the main forum.

:sl:

There were reasons for not allowing everyone to post replies in the Advice & Support section and suffice it to say that the decision was taken after much consideration and it was in the best interests of the forum.

If anyone feels they can contribute to a thread in the Advice & Support section, then please post your reply in the Helpdesk and request the mods to move your reply to the intended thread. The mods reserve the right to deny any such request based on their own discretion.
