So I re-opened my blog under a new name:
http://www.SimpleStranger.com

Check it out, maybe drop a few comments if you're feeling generous. Let me know what you think! :)

Jazakallahu Khair,

Are all posts on it by you?

Like this one? I've picked out a few quotes from it, link to full page below:

People tend to bash whatever goes against their norms and usual habits. Sufism is just one common example in the arena of religion. Today, or rather, tonight, I had the opportunity to experience it first-hand.
In the beginning, they recited the names of Allah (for example, we recited “Ya Lateef” x1000 in unison) and then the praises of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Gradually, we all stood up and began the sufi ritual. It was basically bending your knees and then standing upright, followed by a bow. The pace fluctuated throughout, while a few people recited “Allah” and other phrases on the microphone. We all held hands, our fingers interlocked, throughout the entire process. It is difficult to describe, as it is something you need to experience. Nobody is allowed to spectate – all must participate.
As I reflect on the night, I can say that there is good in everything. Those who bash left and right most probably do not have a complete understanding. I have heard so many negative comments and seen too many sour faces against Sufism. Whereas I cannot say I am among them, I will say that their traditions are beautiful. I do not see how someone can go to Hell for partaking in their rituals.

We all have our unique ways of entering into heaven – each person with their own stories and accounts.

And to have had the opportunity to enjoin them in their ritual was a fulfilling experience, Alhamdulillah.
