EASY DAWAH - BIG RESULTS - surah al-Qiyamah to the Big Sites.

So a quick but powerful dawah technique we can all do. All you need to know is how to copy and paste text.

1 - Visit any website, and see if they have a 'Contact' or 'Feedback' section (usually on the top right or bottom right of a page.) Click on it.
2 - Paste the Extract from surah al Qiyamah into it. (the best dawah is Quran)
3 - Send!

Surah al Qiyamah EXTRACT
:

…And the dying one is certain that it is the time of separation (death)
And leg will be joined with another leg (when you are covered in your burial cloth)
To your Lord, that Day, will be the driving.

So he did not accept the truth, nor did he pray,
But instead, he denied and turned away.
Then he walked in full pride to his family admiring himself!
Woe! (You have lost all goodness)
O person! Woe to you! Then again woe to you, and woe!

Does man think that he will be left neglected?
(without being paid back for his good and bad actions?)

Had he not been a mere Sperm gushed forward?
Then he was a clinging clot,
and God (Allah) created his form and shaped him?
And made him in two sexes, male or female.
Is not that Creator (God) then Able to give life to the dead (on Judgment Day)???

Assalamu-alaikum,

JazakAllah khair brother for these excellent intentions of spreading dawah.

Im not sure if this is the best manner of spreading the word of Allah for the following reasons:

1. The best scenario in giving dawah is one in which a person is actively seeking knowledge about his Creator.
e.g. a person who approaches you asking questions about Islam/ looks for more literature on the internet, etc.
^ SubhanAllah - when you encounter someone of this nature, we should be making every effort to assist him and gently directing him towards the truth.

2. In all other scenarios - where people are not even thinking about deen/ purpose in life - and we are approaching them as possibly the first exposure to Islam, I think we should be more cautious in our methods.

- Scare tactics are not always the best option.
In other words - mentioning death, Day of Reckoning, punishment in the Hereafter - may give the impression of a cruel, unkind, merciless Creator (Na'uzubillah) <--if this is the first message that a person receives about his Lord, it may likely chase them away.

We know that Allah (subhanawatáala) is THE most merciful and forgiving to His slaves.
In fact, the mention of 'forgiveness' and 'mercy' are made much more than the mention of 'punishment' in the Quraan.
This is because even though Allahs wrath is intense, His mercy upon us is just as much, if not more.

3. Also, in cases where we are providing information about Islam to others (without any effort made on their part) - the subtle approach may be more effective than the direct/ 'in-your-face' approach.
So, rather than emailing the above directly - why not, include an ayat of Quraan/ hadith as a footnote to our emails.
Or beginning our emails with 'Bismillahir rahmaanir raheem - In the name of Allah (God), the most gracious, the most merciful.'
Or adding a short ayat when we are giving gifts.

And for those around us: Is there any better dawah than becoming a living, walking reflection of the most beloved to Allah - our prophet, Muhammed (sallalahu alaihi wasalam) himself?
By following his sunnah - in our appearance (give up those western suits, and try to LOOK like a muslim), a beard for men and proper hijab for women....the manner we interact with people, etc.

Remember how Islam was spread in the time of the nabi (sallalahu alaihi wasalam)?
--> It was his blessed character that firstly drew people towards him.
--> And then the message of tawheed.
--> And then, the verses which mention hell-fire.....AND the rewards of paradise.

^ The above is just my own personal opinions on this.

Insha Allah, it makes some sense - when we are calling others to the way of Islam.
